Woody Acres RV Resort

This place is pretty great.I was looking for a spot to stay when I went fishing and found this spot. Wonderful location within easy driving distance of the coast, and figured I'd give it a try.It's SO MUCH cooler than I was expecting! The property is gorgeous with waterfront views for RV spots, WIFI, a pool and I can even bring my German Shepard.This is my go-to spot now, and the owners have been nothing but great.I hear they are going to ad short term rentals with water views as well, so we could just pack a swimsuit and hit the coast.

The park is very quiet and very clean. Peg was extremely nice and helpful when I called to make reservations.

Woody Acres is a great place to spend winter. We are Canadians who has spent several winters here. There have been lots of improvements recently, especially pool area and hot tub. The sites are spacious with many backing unto water. The staff are friendly and helpful, rates are reasonable and the people are super nice. It is close to the gulf and lots of good restaurants close by. Plenty of activities happening at Community centre and Pool hall. A great place either short or long term.

We love it here. Lots of activities. Beautiful Rv Park. People go out of their way to be friendly. Swimming pool, billiard tables, weight room, hot tub. Close to the beach, great fishing. The food at our club house is fantastic. The cooks really put thier heart into it. The whole staff does for that fact and manager too. Close to great shopping and restaurants too. Come visit the park I'm sure you will feel the same way.

We stayed here a few times,and it is a nice park, close to the bay with all of Fulton/Rockport charm. The web site is very dated though as we did not see any lakes, just dried up man made ponds with very little water in them, no fishing at all or much bird watching as they have cut down a lot of trees for bird habitat. Did not see where they had horse shoes ,or campfires as advertised. Very old laundry area that is not big enough to acommadate the the size of the park,just very old washing machines ,and not enough dryers.The pool is small, and painted BLACK, kind of scary to me, they advertise WI-FI,but it is not very strong .good for e-mail but not for heavy use,get dropped often .Sewer is OLD ,backed-up on us and a few others. Lots small and TOO CLOSE ! Slide out to Slide out close,between lots, other than that the place is very clean,good location to rest your head after checking out the area business and events.
