Love the selection here, the staff is very knowledgable, helpful and supportive (I am taking up skate boarding) The styles of clothing are up to date with quality fabric and brands etc. The overall prices are competitive and they have a good selection of mark downs. I always find something new when I go. There's alot to take in when exploring the place.

I've heard this is the only major surfboard rental shop by the national seashore. We rented out their full selection of beginner boards, which was only five, so we had to go to another shop afterwards. The service was amazing as the guy at the shop was very attentive and helped us load and strap our boards to the car. The boards were Surftech and were good quality. The shop was very big and had so much apparel and gear.

We rented a kayak for the day unfamiliar with the area. The young man working was extremely helpful with suggestions. He also helped us load and unload the kayakThere is also a large selection of surf and watersports equipment and apparel sold there.

Your typical surf shop at the beach. Tons of beach gear and clothing. Your typical surfer employee, waiting for the shift to be over to hit the surf. Very helpful, watched them help a few guys with fixes right then and there.The prices are a bit high, but all brand-name surf wear. It is definitely the best surf shop in the area.

Always come here on trips to Port A, great bathing suits and surf boards. Gets you excited about being near the beach!!

My wife and I are novices. We have recently purchased a paddle board from them and we enjoy it so much (We wanted to make sure) that we purchased a second one so that we can enjoy it together. Frank runs a first class operation. Every time that we have been in there, and it was a decent number of times before pulling the trigger, every person in the shop is extremely friendly. Every one of them has a passion for the water and it shows. I personally was thinking a kayak for me originally but with the options I had with the Kahuna I could have the best of both worlds. If you are in the market or even just curious I would highly recommend a trip here before anywhere else.

Such great service here! My and my girlfriend rented a Kayak for the day (first timers) & the guys on shift were absolutely amazing. From friendliness to timeliness, they made the experience completely hassle-free! Seriously the locals here know their stuff and they're soooo easy going! I won't be going to any other shop when we're in the area. 5 stars for sure!!!

I just bought my first long board with very little knowledge about boarding. Both if the clerks were willing to talk to me about what I wanted out of ny first board, why some of the boards I was looking at may not be the right choice. They even suggested cheaper products. They were super knowledgeable and stayed a little past closing to make sure I was happy with my purchase. All in all an awesome experience.

We went here looking for a board for my daughter. The staff was very helpful. I felt like they were very knowledgable and explained the equipment very well. Their prices are fare and they are stocked up with new and used equipment.They are definitely worth a stop while shopping for all types of surfboards and kayaks. The parking situation could be a bit better but it's not a big deal.They do try to sell sell sell but I like that in a world where you get completely ignored by staff while trying to buy something at big box stores like best buy. Wind and Wave is a surfing staple in Corpus and is worth a stop.

Super helpful friendly people. More expensive than academy or Walmart, but they are very experienced and give you tons of information.They have all day kayak rentals with paddles, seat and life jacket for about $50.
