seems to be out of business. I had an appointment made under terms of the extended service contract by Assurant. no one showe, the voice mailbox was full. I drove to the address on Apollo and there is no Williford's Appliance there.

I would have given this company a 0 but that was not available. I set up an appointment for a repair through Home Depot. I had done some research and found the exact name of the part that I needed and asked them to order the part since it would be 5 days before Williford's could come out. It wasn't a hard repair, just expensive and I had an extended warranty. My appt. was for a 4 hour morning window as to be able to go to work after lunch. This company apparently has no respect for other people's time, as they DID NOT SHOW, nor did they call me with a reason. Just, NO CALL, NO SHOW! Then at 12:10 and seething mad, I called the warranty service company to have someone who was not seething mad to call and find out where they were. When the warranty service finally got through, they were put on hold, and hung up on.

Have used Williford for over 30 years, however, did not realize they sold out to the current operators. Totally unfriendly on the phone. Non-cooperative, as well. Called to diagnose a problem with a refrigerator that was under an extended warranty; extremely difficult to get a CLEARLY written estimate.This firm is not local; do not use.

There are no minus stars so I won't even give them one star. 12/08/2017 they charged me $400.00 to change out the motherboard and gave me the standard 30 day warranty. Well 01/17/2018 one of the convection fans is making a loud noise. Called them and they were fast to hit the 30 day warranty button, not even a try to make amends. What a bunch of crooks, stay away fro theses thieves.

I couldn't leave it zero stars. Here's my review: We made an appt with this company through Lowe's Warranty, and they never sent us a confirmation email or phone call. So I tried calling the company myself 4 or 5 times and it said "mailbox was full" they never showed for our appt. So I called Lowes to tell them the situation and they scheduled us with another company. Do not use Willeford's Appliance Service or whatever it's called.

This company is lousy in confirming schedule appointments or calls. The phone mailbox is always full & unable to leave a message. I recommend not purchasing any appliances from Lowes since they use this 3rd party repair company!!

I have been trying to reach williford by phone and there box is full and can notvtake a message. This has been going on for weeks. They are the sub repair for frigidaire so i have had no freezer in my brand new refrigerator since its purchase in july. Will never recommend this company.

I had the lights go out on my late model side by side Whirlpool refrigerator. Called WAppliance and they advised they could get someone out the next day. They first wanted a $75 deposit over the phone. I paid it. Nice man came out. Was there about 10 minutes. Within the first 2 minutes immediately started writing up an order for a new light that he would need to order. I explained I had already tried to fix it myself with a new OEM light I just purchased. It didn't work. He stopped writing the order and checked 2 other areas on my fridge. He then left saying he needed to check more into this model and someone would call me the next day. No paperwork was given. Ok fine. I ended up calling late the next day to find out the status since I hadn't heard. Rep said he would check with tech and call back tomorrow. Received call next day with a quote to replace 4-5 lights and switches,freight etc.totaling over $600. Obviously, the fridge (tho only 2 years old) isn't even worth $600. Bottom line, they didn't know what was wrong and didn't even tell me what was the cause of the problem... so they wanted to fix everything yielding in a quote so high, that they knew i would decline repairs. Its just a light!!! Pretty sad. I politely asked for a refund of my $75. Can you guess the response I received? I bet you can! Well, anyway, now I've lost time from work, lost $75, and still have a fridge Freezer with no light, Will report to the BBB when I get a chance. Stay away from this biz. Their overall rating is accurate. I wish I had seen it prior.UPDATE: 3/5/20 It turns out that this biz is so disorganized and mismanaged, that my credit card wasn't even charged at the time of scheduling, even tho I was told over the phone days later that I wouldn't receive a refund. Just checked...They hadn't even charged my card when they took it over the phone days before! Is my ccard # laying around somewhere? No paperwork? No diagnosis? No contract? $600+ quote for a light? What a joke... Certainly a learning experience!!

Williford's Appliance Service will replace almost any part you need with the manufacturers new "genuine" part right here in Corpus Christi. Alternatively you can get a "knock off" replacement parts advertised from the smiling fat faced guy from New Jersey (the one with the great website offering 50% off) who after you prepay and are owed a refund: 1) only answers your call from a phone number... other than yours, 2) if you catch him using your wife's phone repeats the same two words "tough $h1t," 3) blocks you wife's phone number.
