Waters Edge Apartments

Management is extremely rude (Eloisa) & is very uninformative & if you're unaware of something they try to make you feel slow or stupid & deflect any problems back to you. Maybe it's just me but she makes you feel like a burden & unwanted there or like you're less than her. She has very poor, people skills & it's sad since she runs this place. I've been here unfortunately for a little over a year and I've always had an issue with this lady & Janette in the front office. They're not helpful whatsoever, they play nice in the beginning until you finally move in and then that's when they dump all the bullshit on you. They also don't do anything about hostile and racist neighbors, they essentially encourage it. Please do not move in here just because it's by the water. Save yourself. They also tried stealing a $3500 deposit that they told me I would be getting back & I had to contact corporate and make sure I got it back because they seriously don't help you.

This place is a nightmare! Management refuses to make repairs and they rent apartments that flood! Stay Away from this property!

This place is a nightmare for tenants. Work orders are done in a random order. I had a leak from my ceiling for a week before anything was done about it. Cockroaches should pay the same amount for rent as I do based on how often I find them in my apartment. But thank the lord we got a dog wash tenants still have to pay for. Also if you have a four-door car, you may have trouble parking because the spaces are small. That is unless you want to pay an additional $25 for a reserved spot. This place is a scam and it's probably with good reason it's not Better Business Bureau accredited.

Absolutely terrible! Your water gets shut off at least once a month. They shut off the gas for 3 days! Thats 3 days without hot water! Used needles found in the parking lot at least 3 times. Then I move out only to find out they were charging me a late fee my entire year there because their system didnt recognize the credit. All they will do to correct it is send me an email saying I was never late, which leaves me to deal with the rent recovery collections service they "mistakenly" sent my account to! So, over a year after moving out, now I have to defend my credit! Angry doesnt being to describe how I feel about this place. If you dont care about showers or your credit, this is the place.

Had problem with my A/C unit. Candice dropped by, very friendly and listed to issue. She removed the front plate; checked what the issue is, then notified maintenance of the issue. Also followed-up with me after issue was resolved. I APPRECIATE the follow-up call after work was completed. Most apartment complexes don't bother to follow-up to see if problem was solved

We have been residents here since 2010, and pay 1100+ in rent. These are current pics of what we are experiencing. The complaints have gone unresolved since 6/5/17. Today is 6/17 and no one has been here to fix. Not all is bad, as they are great in posting notes on your door when rent is a day late. Im hoping this helps, that is all we are needing is HELP!! We are looking at leaving, hope they don't keep us binded to the lease?!?!? Keep you posted.

Do you like hot water for your showers or to clean dishes? This is not the place for you then as it seems like it never works anymore. If you enjoy the good old days of boiling your water to clean you kids and stuff then a trip back to the pioneers days here at Waters Edge is for you.

Stay as far away as you can this place will charge you hidden fees and they are not up front. And don't count on your deposit coming back . They even put me someone else's 4000 dollar rent bill that was nothing to do with me I had to dispute it and did get it off my credit report while I was still living there. The rent is not worth the space or the headache this place will give u the shaft and a lot more.

they do not even need 1 star!! The management does not know what they are doing!! They even say they don't know what to do!! I had problems the whole 7 months I lived there! The neighbors were so loud all the time and their dogs.(3 adults,3 kids & 2 dogs in a 2 br) The neighbors that would touch that unit would complain and the management would say they didn't know what to do because there was conflicting stories. I called PD twice and then received a note stating they needed me to vacate their property but would not give me a reason why. pest control stole a watch from my apartment and management would not answer back and NEW owner did not care. Had to contact PD. PD told me the management said they do not keep logs of who comes to do works, they just give out the keys. management does not enforce any type of rules. The grounds are very filthy with dog feces. I reported about five tenants over three times each and they still would not do anything. my oven would not cook and wait over about 2-3 months to get an oven which was old and did not work as well... The assistant manager now cannot even do the billing correctly... she adds different charges to the bill... the photo they post are photo shopped the property is not that Beautiful. The waterfront always smells like dead fish and the walk way there is covered in dog feces

If I could give them no stars I would. When we first moved in we were excited to be by the water but the apartment itself was not worth it. Our cabinets look like dogs chewed all of it apart (they never fixed it & promised to), out of the 8 doors we had including closets and bathrooms only 2 actually shut. One of them was busted in half & when I asked to get it fixed, they half way fixed it (it looked like shit, that's the best way to describe it). Our front door didn't even lock right, they had to come fix that. The place has no lights on the ceiling except in the bathrooms and 1 in the living room & the one in the living room never worked, never came to fix that. We had a huge crack in the ceiling, which never came to fix. Our closet door legit came off the hinges, never fixed that. Our kitchen sink flooded our kitchen twice before they would fix it & then proceeded to tell us that it was so rusted they had to saw the pipes and replace everything & that it should have been done a very long time ago. Our washer and dryer hookups were completely broken, we had to call 8 times before that was fixed. The blinds that come with the slide door, 4 were broken off before we even walked in the door. Never replaced them so we couldn't ever close our blinds. One toilet didn't ever work, never would fix that. The shower temp never changed, wouldn't fix that. There was mold after the hurricane, wouldn't fix that so i had to myself. The carpet wasn't put down right because a week after living there I saw it coming up in a spot there was no foot traffic & by the time we moved out it was all separated. We lived there for 3.5 months & all this happened. We called multiple times for each situation (which was never our fault, all these things broke due to their unprofessionalism) & only some stuff would get fixed. We had to pay $5K to break our lease. Which at that point was worth it. Every single neighbor we had said they would never renew & they wanted out too. We paid quite a bit for our apartment because we assumed it would be nice. Just the worst place to live.
