We were so glad we tried Virginia's. Great service. Good-looking establishment. Nice, cold beers.Gumbo was ok. Nothing to write home about.Shrimp Platter was excellent. Get this. Garlic Mahi Mahi (off menu seasonal special) - Perfection. Masterfully done.Island Burger - Good Lord thank you!!!! Made with certified Akaushi beef. One of the better burgers I've ever had anywhere! Get one.This is one of the better restaurants in Port A (and there are some good ones). We're definitely going back.

The first time we went to this place the food, the drinks and the service were just wonderful. The second time we went, the food was not as good. The third time we went, it seems like the food and the drinks were just not good at all. The service was OK, but it was disappointing to see things not getting any better. I had the Coconut Shrimp and it was OK. The rice and the fries were not tasty at all. My husband's seafood sampler left much to be desired and the clam chowder was mediocre at best. Even the drinks were not good. We're not going back.

Service was not the best, unfortunately. Atmosphere was v chaotic. But thankfully, the food was far better. Great views of the pier!

Ok now be realistic. It's older and rustic just like we like. The next door restraunts are new and modern and the food is canned or packaged just ok. The sell is the view and new place. For me We prefer the older style. Authentic and real. With that be caredull what you order keep it simple. The best thing is the shrimp appetizer (see pic) and get a cold beer and enjoy the marina. Perfect

Another great meal.We stopped in for lunch on a weekday.There was no wait for a water front table.We were greeted immediately by our server with a smile.We ordered the smoked fish/jalapeño dip for our starter. It was delicious, not much jalapeño but lots of big chunks of smoked fish.I had a salad and my husband had a cup of clam chowder, both were good.We shared the grilled Mahe' sandwich with fries (our usual). It was so delicious! A large piece of perfectly seasoned and grilled Mahe' on a yummy soft brioche bun. The fries are so good, seasoned and crispy. We had a Mai Tai which was really hood. We are Mai Tai traditionalists, if it's pink there's something wrong.Great service, delicious meal.

We went there and since it's during the winter, nobody was here so we got seated immediately. Super nice our waiter was so nice and we decided to get the snow crab and we got everything we need to open up the crab it took a while to get our food, but when we got it, we had to open up the crowd manually which I learned how to open up crab and our waiter open up the crab and Thomas some tips so our crab opening was a very easy experience. We were outside, so we saw the very beach in the ambience was like a very beachy style, and I loved looking at the water

Service was good until we realized that the waiter repeatedly only listened to half of our request. Oven baked oysters were extremely cold. Not sure if they were originally meant for another table or not. Restaurant is in a great location. Ambiance is great but there are so many other restaurants worth spending your time money at.I strongly suggest trying something else.

We ate there on February 8th. The atmosphere is great & service was good. BUT the fried shrimp were seriously over cooked. If you get the fried shrimp make sure they're not overcooked. Tell the waitress before you eat more than one if they are overcooked.

The outside of the restaurant is not impressive...I mean, not at all. But, the food is excellent. We used to go to Doc's Seafood restaurant until we got food poisoning from their food so we decided to go elsewhere. This is worth a try!
