Vick's Famous Hamburgers

We came to eat here to try it out not long after they opened this location and it was pretty good. Was it a gourmet burger, no. But it also wasn't a "this taste like it was frozen from a box". The toppings were fresh which made the burger even better. The service was phenomenal. 5 star service at a restaurant that cost us under $20 for 2 full meals. We will be coming back for sure.Ps: You won't find a bathroom in town that smells better.

The only thing that I really liked there was the Dr Pepper. I ordered a five piece chicken tender and was only given 4 and then the staff argued in back about cooking one more chicken tender for me, which was absolutely ridiculous. On top of that I was charged for a five piece, and then an extra $1.50 for chicken tenders that came out of a box. Nothing there is homemade, My husband got the ultimate burger and he said it was just some flat patty. Nothing to write home about. We would definitely not recommend this place. We paid over 50 bucks for two chicken sandwiches, a hamburger and 5 chicken tenders.

Not a bad place overall. Has a cool 70s vibe to it with all the signage and license plates on the wall. Service was quick and the burgers weren't that bad. They do have beer, so that's a plus in my book.

The breading is to much. Big hunks of breast looked like Peterosaur Breast and I do mean dinosaurs style. I've never seen a chicken breast that big. Bigger is not better. So we ordered a twelve piece and they said the did not have enough chicken to fill it. They said well add some chicken strips to the order to make it a twelve piece. The chicken tenders are processed not the real thing. The box we received had 3 wings 5 over sized breast and 5 little piece of processed chicken tenders. What a disappointment. We'll never go there again.

The joint has been open a few weeks now and the lines have slowed down a good bit. I've been to the other two locations in the past and have generally enjoyed the experiences overall. We were trying to think of what to have for lunch and we remembered that the new location was open and felt it was time to give it a try. Wife wanted chicken and mashed potatoes...they don't do mashed potatoes. So I got her a cheeseburger combo and I got a three piece chicken. First time I've tried the chicken from Vick's. I hate to bang on a new business, but lordy that chicken was not good. The batter was so thick and fried until it became too hard as to be inedible. I pulled the larger chunks of batter off so I could at least eat the meat underneath. The fries were OK. Wife says the hamburger reminded her of the high school cafeteria burgers. She like the onion rings. I had ordered Diet DP for her...they were out.NOT a good experience, guys.

Bad and expensive food. Tried the chicken and fish, terrible. The chicken not seasoned at all, overcooked. The hamburgers, big no flavor too greasy. Gave them two chances. I hope they improve. The ladies in the front are very sweet. They need better cooks. Homemade food 100% better. How can you mess up a hamburger. Take the hamburger out of Vick's Hamburgers‼

Wow so darn good! I haven't been to Vicks at this location. But have been to the old location several times. It was so good. Loved it. Had a cheeseburger w/fries and the wife had fried shrimp and she love it as well. It just keeps getting better. Wish they could add another location on the other side of the Harbor Bridge like in my town of AP. No pics cause I was starving and didn't think about it til afterwards.

Best chili hotdog combo so tasty!! Definitely recommend trying this. Our first time there and definitely going back.

Kinda sad the reviews were so bad cause it was actually great food. I hadn't been to Vicks since I was a child. We are back in Corous and said let's give it a try. Now we are leaving again and won't be in the Corous area. Only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is cause I ordered a cfs plate and got a cfs burger. They offered to fixit but I was happy with it. Maybe they knew what I really wanted. if you are in the area I'd Deff give it a try,

Just went and tried this burger for the first time. I got the bacon burger and I was really excited because I'm a big cheeseburger person. The service was fast and workers were nice but the food was not it. The burger tastes like a burger you get at a hospital cafeteria. There was no seasoning and nothing fresh about the burger, it tasted like a frozen patty and kraft slices. If you're calling yourself a burger place I expect a higher quality burger.
