Verizon Wireless-Mobile Destination

Scammed me into paying for a full price for a phone that was supposed to be covered. Now they want me to pay full price for the phone. Horrible service.

My husband and I went to the Verizon Store by the Walmart in Calallen and since i was having issues with my phone purchased a new one. My husband had been procrastinating upgrading his and decided not to. The next day he went by and talked to them again and got a breakdown on paper as to how much an upgraded phone would be. The agent wrote down the amount/discount and tax.. giving him a complete total. It was ordered for him and on Wednesday before Thanksgiving he received a phone call that he had made a mistake he was sorry but the cost was $285 dollars more than he wrote down for him. My husband had ordered a screen protector and otter cover for the new phone. So when he told me i was extremely upset. I called them back and the gentleman told me there was nothing he could do except apologize. I feel that they should honor the amount that was given to my husband. My phone was over $600 and his was going to be close to $800.. and we were paying them off in 2 payment. I went with Verizon many years ago because AT&T and TMobile had lied to me about prices and had been very satisfied until now.. We are over 60 so we have to watch the money we spend. The price of phones are outrageous and i refuse to pay over $1200.00 for a phone.. I think that they should make good the cost that they quoted us..
