The food was good, and although the drink orders were mixed up (I can't blame them - we had a big party) - they were very friendly. The food was great and they had a lot of options (breakfast, seafood, TexMex, Mexican).

Holy Jeeze, where to begin...Walking in, the place looks and feels dirty. The "Hostess" just points at the dining area and say, "Anywhere..." in a very unenthusiastic way. Service was prompt. Got my drink order and brought me a menu pretty quick. Place was pretty empty though. Decent selection of plates for a Mexican restaurant, and cheap... But I'm thinking cheap for a reason. I get my chips, which happen to be made of flour tortillas(read oil soaked dough) and about three tablespoons of salsa in a little bowl. Placed my order for the "Number 5 1/2", two enchiladas and a crispy taco. Clever except NONE of the other menu items are numbered...Start to dig into the chips and grab one that's oddly moist and squishy. Thinking chip from a previously used basket that just got recycled instead of thrown out. Stopped eating chips. Get my plate... Meh. Decent sized serving for the price, so what is lacks in flavor it makes up for in price. Enchiladas were pretty much flavorless with the exception of the melted cheese on top which was a bit "off." What I mean by off is I couldn't tell what kind of cheese it was, I'm guessing some generic white block that says "salt and white cheese textured product."Beans also had no flavor, rice was ok. Tacos were actually not too bad. Coulda used a bit more lettuce, tomato, and "yellow cheese" but not awful. Would I come back? Very doubtful...There are MUCH better options in Edinburg.

Please save yourself the time and money. Go to another place! The small portion of watered down salsa we got was terrible. My fajitas seemed to be old meat and very hard to chew. The daughters enchiladas were horrible, she even spit them out. My husband ordered an order of Mexican style tacos and got 3 poorly served tacos. You could literally eat them in 2 bites.

We went for breakfast, asked for breakfast botanita, eggs over-easy, has half a cup of menudo, refried beans, small amount of onions and tomatoes chopped, Ok so got my plate. Was not pleased. 1. The eggs were over cooked, 2. the menudo was not hot, but lukewarm, 3. tomatoes were passed their expectation they had a funky smell. But! What really got to me was what I found on the tortilla. A hair! Ok so I paided for my meal. And I told the manager what I had founded his comment was it happens. It Happens! He did not offer to gives a discount . Or a coupon for next time, His comment to that was I used to do that, but it doesn't matter cause your never come back anyway. Does not deserve a Star!

Food honestly really wasn't that great, I had the enchiladas de pollo and it was a little undercooked. Service was a little poor as some of the waiters were sitting at tables talking while we're were trying to ask for refills. It was completely awful, but I most definitely wouldn't eat here again.

Have you ever gone to a restaurant starving, but the minute you choose a table a roach comes out!!! We did move from a both to a table. Needles to say I wasn't able to enjoy dinner! Owner needs to be more vigilant of the area, keep it clean!!! When we brought it to hostess attention , she couldn't find words to say. She was stumped ....
