Vallarta Grill

The portions on their to go orders are ridiculous . They literally just fill half the taco. This is not an isolated incident either. I've experienced the same on their to go plates. Their food plates are good if you eat there. Spoke to the owner and he wasn't too worried about it. Said he'd look into it.

Food is good? Services is good overall, the cleanest of the restaurant is not all that great. dirty and sticky. Condiments are good indication that the rest of the restaurant is dirty as well, including the kitchen.It's hard to say how many restaurants are diligent about this. I literally got the salt shaker and it slipped off my hand. If you take a real good look at them looks like they need to be replaced. tables are sticky at time. I always have to ask him to wipe down my table. around the windowsills, you can see that flies mosquitoes ect.. took my appetite away, but I still ate.Be on the lookout for the handicap area there's a rose bush. I got the tip of one of the thorns on my hand. Why would there be a rosebush on the customers pathway specially the handicap area. Well stop going there for a while. I will check them up in another two or three months.

Coming in you can tell the restaurant is really busy but the tables are very cramped in. Everyone seems to know everyone which I really liked. First off we ordered drinks right away and they came quick in to go cups another plus. I also ordered food as soon as I received my drink. Wait times to get food is really long. We were given chips and salsa which let's be honest can make you want to come back. The chips were stale but also over cooked. I ordered the Gordita plate. Okay let's jump into, the guac salad was gray. So I didn't touch it. The Gordita was carne asada which was really good. It was really loud, besides the TVs being way too high we sat next to people who were coughing screaming and the amount of Eff bombs used was insane. Overall the visit was uncomfortable and to close. I felt closed in. Not a great experience. This is my first time in since the reopened after being closed for a week. Nothing special.

I love the food! Nice people and great food! We always like going to Vallarta Grill and they have good prices.

Service was good, food was good, and atmosphere was so so. Where we were seated was very loud as near waitress drink stand. Place is small so feels crowded quickly. Prices were average for low end Mexican restaurants in San Antonio area. We had the mini tacos and bean with cheese nachos. Was plenty for two.

Ordered the Flauta plate and it was very delicious. Their rice tastes like homemade and did not disappoint. Food arrived fast but still hot. I had already taken bite of food in picture posted lol. Restuarant is clean and restrooms are as well, which is an important requirement when recommending a place. Staff was very friendly and kind.

Best bean & cheese and green hot sauce. Spectacular give me 14 of them right now!!!!!

I got literally 4 pieces of meat?? I guess I'm not the only person to complain about to go orders being small on portion size.

Everything is great the fajita plate, the hamburger, enchiladas, service is excellent staff is friendly highly recommended

Food is great and that does make up for the ambiance and the crowdedness. Tables are very close together and it feels like we can have a conversation with the tables around us.
