My mother-in-law asked how to say something off the menu and our waiter Roy proceeded to get mad and irritated for us asking.We then had to wait a long time for our food with him never coming back around to refill our drinks or nothingBy the end of it, we had some sushi on the table that we asked the price of what it would be to take them and after him being rude and dismissive again we asked for his manager The Manager sold it by just giving us a five dollar box, but after we saw our waiter, making fun and talking shit about us to The ManagerOverall experience if you go there, don't have Roy as your waiter

I can't speak on the service or ambiance of Umiya Sushi due to having my food delivered to me. But, the food was very mid. I got edamame and it was extremely dry and the beans were hard. I also got no salt on them at all. Plain hard edamame beans. For my entree I got the Lexington roll and the first bite I took I spit out. The crawfish tasted so bad it almost made me sick! I could only continue eating by taking out all the crawfish out of the roll and then anything the crawfish touched. I would not recommend this place at all!

Service was a bit slow today even though there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant yet. The salmon had a slight fishy smell to it. Everything else was fine though. As the lunch progressed, there was a bit more traffic and the service became extremely slow.

I was very surprised to find a restaurant in Corpus with such fresh fish! The sashimi was cut quite thick, but you could tell that it was high-quality seafood. We loved the salmon and eel especially, we got repeat orders of them! Usually, sashimj pieces at AYCE sushi places are almost always low quality and not really fresh tasting, but not here! It was definitely worth it, and I would come back every time I'm in Corpus. Our waitress was also really great and the food came out fast. There was nothing ever wrong with our order, which was very impressive since we were a table of 8 ordering a lot of things.

I'm not one for sushi, but my Grand Daughters love this place! Today we had an excellent waitress! I have tried a couple menu items (none sushi) and I was satisfied plus they do have a dessert menu that is different than most restaurants. I've been satisfied every visit there.

Fried calamari smells bad. Chicken teriyaki tasted like dog food. Crab puffs/ crab rangoon were actually disgusting. We had to spit them out. Staff was nice. Parking lot was absolutely packed on a Saturday afternoon.
