This place is a little older than it seems in their pictures online. Their wifi doesn't work. Their parking situation is annoying. We were only able to park one car on site. We also got charged for the room 4 times somehow which was frustrating. Also, the floor in our room was already sandy upon arrival which is not great.

Very cute vibe!!! This place as the cutest pool area. We didn't bring kids but definitely kid friendly with one shallow pool one hot tub and a regular 6ft tub. The room was very cool and comfortable as well. At night I hung out side on the rocking chair outside and enjoyed the cool nights breeze. Charming place I would definitely stay here

Good location, an easy walk to the community park and Roberts Point Park for dolphin watching and the seasonal decorations. The room itself had comfortable mattress, bedding, and nice pillows. Big closet, lots of space. Nice body wash, lotion, and shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom. Unclear on how to get refreshed towels daily, so we ended up using the beach towels we had brought with us. Floors were dirty/gritty, but that's pretty much to be expected at a beach destination. Free wifi/Internet/TV was a little bit spotty especially it seems when there were many people 'at home' but worked fine when fewer people were using it. Dog park was hard to find, not well lit, small, not inviting. Luckily the community park has a nice dog park we enjoyed. Hot tub looked cloudy, but the pool was very nice, heated and salt water. Walls are very thin, we had a large family staying next door, even heard snoring at night--which we did not see a need to complain about to the front desk, as these things do happen.Unfortunately, the front desk called us the first afternoon after we had checked in late the previous evening and told us that there had been complaints that our dogs barked & kept neighbors up 'all night' (I guess that's why they were snoring so loudly?) and that we had left the dogs in the room while we 'went out'. We had arrived at around 8pm, unloaded our luggage, and walked our dogs for about an hour, got back to our room around 10 and went to bed. If the dogs had barked, they would have disturbed us FIRST before they disturbed the neighbors. Front desk person acted like I was lying when I told them this and spoke to me in a scolding tone. I suspect the neighbors made up a lie to tell the front desk after they saw us arriving with dogs as a way to try and get a free or discounted stay. Nevertheless, it was offensive and hurtful to be treated that way over a lie. This is the truth: We never left the dogs alone in the room. They were with us the entire time, we were out of the room most of the day, and went to bed early each night. They would occasionally bark once or twice and be quickly shushed by us when the large family next door would periodically slam doors and yell. The place itself is fine, with the exception of the thin walls and unkind front desk person. It is not the resort's fault that there was a huge group of loud people in a room next to a quiet couple whose dogs are not used to children and people yelling and slamming doors. I do wish the business had been proactive and offered another room to either us or the giant family to resolve the issue. Under different circumstances, the resort itself could be a very pleasant, affordable place to stay in the off-season. But if you get bad neighbors, you will be out of luck.

We really wanted to love this place, we stayed here in March for Spring Break and had a few problems but were fixed after I notified them so we scheduled another stay for this past week in June 2023. This time we stayed in cottage 103 and was very disappointed. First our lock on the door fell off in my hand, a repair person came by to "fix" the lock, his fix was putting the lock back in and told me not to turn it too much as it would fall out again! I also asked him to look at one of the air conditioners as it didn't seem to be cooling, he said the temp was too low and raised it and said that should fix it. It was making a horrible noise like coins in a can. The entire time we were there the ac was making this loud horrible motor noise. After we unloaded our car and sat down to rest for a few minutes I took my shoes off and felt sand throughout the entire cottage. I found a broom and swept the whole floor (see photo). Also the shower/tub tile enclosure was filthy, I took a Clorox sheet and wiped a small area and the sheet was black with either dirt or mold. It was just very old and unkept. Lastly as I was checking out I told the person about the sand issue and she laughed it away saying "you're at the beach, there's sand everywhere"!! There shouldn't be sand in a supposedly clean cottage upon first entry after the cleaning staff cleaned it. Very disappointing. Loved the location but wouldn't recommend staying here to any of our friends.

Nice rv resort. Good pool, with snow/ice cream shop. Kids loved that! Very convenient golf cart rental on site. Good amount of space, close to the city park, beach and back road to the grocery store. We stayed in the tiny home but next time will bring our camper.

Let me start by saying that I have stayed in almost every hotel on this island, from cheap to expensive af. The price of this place had me expecting something that was old and dingy but hopefully clean and sanitary. We were only staying one night so I figured I could tough it out if need be (y'all I am bougie ok, I fully accept that lol). Bc we were only staying one night, we arrived much earlier than typical check in hour but drove by justtttt to see if the room was ready. It was not. The front desk staff said she'd call us as soon as it was ready, but I've have heard that song and dance before and was not even expecting a call. Howeverrrrr, she did call! And only about 10 min after we left, saying the cleaning crew had just called to say they were done. That was the first surprise, a good one. When we got to the room I was literally stunned. It was so cute! Brand new everything! It looked like the entire place had been freshly remodeled; not just touch up paint here and a new lame picture the beach there, but actually top to bottom remodel by someone who knew what they were doing! So cute. And great value for the money. A couple small caveats, idk if it advertises as 'sleeps 4' but it really doesn't. There is a loft like area up some steep stairs but it does not have a full height ceiling and would only be fit for children under probably 6-7. Also, the ac doesn't get very cold (We got the detached bungalow btw). The rest of the property is super cute as well. There is a salt water pool (which was closed for some reason, sad face) and a snow cone hut which is super nice for kids. However, there is a second property just down the road whose pool was open so we checked it out. Pool, great but super busy; hot tub, great; bath house, amazing. Again, I'm thinking gross little outdoor shared bathroom at an RV park, wrong! It was a beautifully remodeled bathroom with extra large walk in shower, tile throughout and they were clean! Three total. Overall, I will be staying here again. Hopefully the pool will be open in my location the next time! But this is def now my go to Port A hotel! Such great value!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. If you're going to rent a room please go elsewhere. The RV park itself is fine, but the rooms they rent out are FILTHY. Bed spreads and sheets are NOT washed. The public bathrooms are disgusting. No soap, showers floors are filthy. Please don't stay here.

Excellent RV park in the center of town. Extremely friendly/helpful management and staff. Reasonable prices. Both short & long term accommodations available. Ample space between pads and all pads are concrete. Recently upgraded following 2017 hurricane. Golf cart rental available on site. For the above reasons I would call this the best RV park in Port A.

Would not recommend. My boyfriend and I booked to stay two nights and ended up leaving a day early. The room was dirty, the comforters had blood stains on them, the AC struggles to work, and the there was remaining coffee in the coffee maker from whoever stayed there prior to us... gross...There was also an extreme amount of mosquitos in the room and we were all bit up and uncomfortable. Lastly, when we were packing up go leave, my boyfriend checked the center bed dresser drawer. There were multiple condoms and lube left in the drawer. This shows how little the rooms are cleaned. We payed nearly 200 dollars and feel slightly taken advantage of. We will not be coming back here and will be looking into different options next time traveling to Port A.
