Tokyo Grill & Sushi Bar

I am only reviewing their Spicy Crunchy Tuna Roll and Teriyaki Chicken/Bento Box as well. I really enjoy their sushi I normally get and at decent price in comparison to others. I have had better hibachi Chicken Teriyaki (best was Jimmyz Hibachi) but I did like theirs and more so in the Bento box. I did rate 3 stars because 2 times my chicken had pink, under cooked bits. Humans know eating undercooked or raw poultry is like signing your gastrointestinal death certificate.TIP if you go to any restaurant that serves Wasabi and it's not spicy or flavored like you have had at others, know that fresh Wasabi is really only flavorful for minutes after being freshly cut. Radish however is usually what's used in the states and burns the hairs out of your nose.

I ordered seasame shrimp and my husband ordered orange chicken. They both came out drowning in a sauce that tasted the same and was so salty I couldn't eat it. And the shrimp was tough. Fried rice was an extra charge and even though it tasted better it was also too salty. I like well seasoned food! This was wayyy too much! Pricey too.

One of the very few places in Victoria that's vegan-friendly, but also one of my favorite restaurants in town. The tofu steak option was super flavorful, though simple, and makes me wish I still lived in town so I could come more often. Yakisoba was great, and I was also very pleasantly surprised at the taste of the steamed veggies -- they didn't even need the sauce to make an impression. A bit on the pricey side for Victoria, but definitely worth it every once in a while. Hibachi is fun, and the chefs have their whole bit down too, so the whole family always likes it.

Just sat the revalue dine in tables u they do have that show type seating too. Got udon noodle dish, some sushi, and tempura veggie. Sushi was good, noodles were tasty, but the tempura was crazy good. It's just an appetizer dish but it's a good amount of stuff. Best part of the meal for me. I've already been back a couple of times. Still good.

I'm a little surprised that this place has only a three star rating. First time dining here and would certainly try it again without hesitation. I had the peppered steak and my partner had the halibut. The salad served was unremarkable and plain. The chicken fried rice serve with the steak was good enough for a stand alone meal. Steak and halibut was served with stirred fried veggies that were cooked right in front of you on the grill. Chef was friendly, but not over the top on his preparation and presentation of our dinners. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed

Don't go here unless you want to get food poisoning. The fish in the sushi was rotten and we all got sick!

We were looking for a lighter fare. Tokyo Grill did not disappoint. We had the traditional hibachi prepared surf and turf. My filet was outstanding. So tender and juicy flavor was amazing. The shrimp were also yummy. My husband had the Kobe steak and lobster. Both were soo good. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We ate at Tokyo Grill Friday night and everything was outstanding. Chen our wait girl was very attentive the entire time we enjoyed our meal. The food was good as usual. One of our favorite places to dine. We enjoyed a restaurant where the atmosphere is quiet and inviting.

The Best Japanese Food I've ever had! The Service Was great and the workers had a great sense of humor. It was very nice there and Seeing people make the food was amazing. it's also a great place because there's not a lot of Food Places like this in victoria, also other than the ramen, it's vegan friendly!
