I recently visited Seguin Power Plant and I was super impressed with the venue itself. As a restored and converted hydroelectric plant, they've done an amazing job of preserving the historical significance of the building. The industrial, factory feel has been beautifully incorporated into the restaurant's design, and it really pays homage to its past. Plus, with its view overlooking the river, the location is hard to beat -- perfect for a relaxing evening out! That said, I do recommend being prepared for parking. There isn't a ton of parking right in front, so if you're coming on a busier night, you might have to park in the overflow lot. It's a short walk back to the restaurant and the lighting is a bit limited. Not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind. Now, onto the food. I ordered the fried chicken sliders, and they were... decent. Not mind-blowing, but good. The honey chipotle sauce was a bit sweeter than I would've liked, but dipping them in ranch helped balance it out. Overall, a solid choice, but nothing I'd rush back for.In the end, Seguin Power Plant is definitely worth checking out for the unique atmosphere, great views, and history. It's a cool spot to visit if you're in the area!

Solid food offerings with an unbeatable view make this a good destination in Seguin. The view off the terrace is something to behold. Beyond that the food is your standard Southern comfort fare. Well prepared and tasty with some hits and misses. The key is to stick to the standards. The chicken wings were delicious as was the BLT. The jalapeno poppers were so-so. Flavor was mild but the interior ingredients were mushy which made the overall taste average at best. Service was good and friendly.

We stopped by for a quick night and enjoyed the happy hour bites and drinks. The hand battered onion rings were amazing. As well as the poppers and wings. When in Seguin, come and enjoy this historic location, views and river!

This place was the best part of my trip to Seguin, TX. Wow, during fall with a nice breeze, this place makes the perfect spot for dinner or brunch! What a cool and unique spot with amazing staff, interior, and exterior. A family with a dog sat next to us and the staff placed a water bowl for the dog & refilled a couple times.

What a complete disappointment. This former power plant boasts such amazing scenery with a natural water feature and I just wish the owners would use that more to their benefit. What an amazing attraction this could be not just for locals or folks passing through. It could be a true destination spot. The food tasted like it came directly from the food supply vendor without much thought put into it.Why not cook and add great flavors? Why not have themed meals or drinks to play off the beautiful and natural surroundings?I had a strawberry margarita that tasted like warm Kool-Aid with a couple ice cubes tossed in.The queso tasted like it was poured straight from an industrial sized can.Our server was a young and sweet kid; I can't help but think how much more he could get in tips with a revamp that would bring more guests. The decor is lacking as well; really need to play up that whole power plant vibe.

I grew up in Seguin and visit regularly. This wasn't my first visit to The Power Plant but it has been a few years since I was last here. The food is good and the waitstaff were very friendly! I'm currently working with the event coordinator, Veronica, to plan a party here later in the year. The real attraction of The Power Plant is the scenic, historic setting. It is beautiful! I love that this special place is right in the heart of my hometown. Definitely worth a visit.

The onion rings were amazing, the view is beautiful and it's a fun place to eat. I had the Cobb salad which was good. It needed more bacon and the blue cheese dressing was runny but overall a great salad. My friend had the burger and enjoyed it.
