The atmosphere appears to fun since we were only a few groups in for lunch. All the tables are hard wood. The waiter was very friendly and got us hyped for their food. Well the oysters I felt were not fresh at all. One had a very bad taste like it was rotten. The calamari was too chewy. The Cesar salad didn't taste like Cesar dressing at all. The only decent thing was their burgers. Over all I was disappointed and wish the place had air conditioning. There were lots of flies flying around.

This is our go to restaurant. It is open air (no ac) tiki bar feel with great food and a staff that tries super hard- best sunset on the island - great shrimp and grits, beer shrimp, Brussels sprouts, lobster bucatini , drum ponchartrain , any of the boils etc. we highly recommend.

Can't say how food is as we left after 5mins. Very unappealing interior, no outside dining, hostess clueless and sat us in front of wind tunnel AC, moved to uncomfortable high top, looked at menu, which was different than one shown on Yelp, and the 4 of us agreed we did not want anything this place was serving!

Just no. Soooo hot, terrible food, uncomfortable furniture, no view and waaaay overpriced for having food trucks instead of a kitchen and bo bartender on a Saturday night. Also, there was no manager visible or circulating when ppl were clearly disgruntled by the lack of food and drinks arriving (our simple drinks came out long after the gross oysters and super salty calamari had been deemed inedible). The in-dining experience was fine, but the customer service is severely lacking.Let me start by saying this all began with a mistake on our part. We made a reservation at The Pearl for Saturday, August 10th. We did this through Toast, which required a deposit to secure the reservation. It was $25 per person, and it required a minimum of 4 people, even though we only had three (myself, my fiance, and my son). Reluctantly, we put down a $100 deposit to make a reservation. Come Saturday, we went to the beach and then took a nap in the afternoon. We overslept and missed our reservation. I was mortified! $100 down the drain! This part was our mistake. What comes next is a mistake on the restaurant's part. I asked my fiance to call the restaurant and see if they could move our now missed reservation to the following day, Sunday, August 11th, so we could still apply the $100 we deposited. Otherwise, we would have to eat somewhere cheap, because we cannot afford to lose that money. The manager, Ryan, assured us that he would take care of refunding the $100 deposit from Toast and to please go ahead and come in to dine with them. We were very excited to hear this news and went to dinner.Fast-forward more than a month later (now September 17th), and we still have yet to see the refund. We have contacted the restaurant multiple times, and they have now stopped responding to us. I would COMPLETELY understand if they were unable to reverse this charge, but I do not appreciate being told this would be corrected in order to get us to come dine with them. At this point, we have paid for a full meal for three people ($220.19 after tip), plus $100 just to make the reservation. I am not in the habit of giving 1-star reviews. I would not have done so now, except the manager is no longer returning our calls, and we still do not have the $100 back, with no explanation for why this isn't possible or how long to expect it to take. I am extremely disappointed in how this turned out and I will not be dining at The Pearl again as a result. I will also never make a reservation that requires such a significant deposit again. I can't believe they charge $25 per person AND require a minimum party of 4 to make the reservation. Service was good. Food was fine. This whole experience has left a horrible taste in my mouth.

The ambiance, food, and service was top notch! I was so impressed! Server was so sweet and accommodating and the surf n turf was AMAZING! Impeccable presentation! 12/10

Waiter was nice but service was terrible, no AC which was terrible as well. Food was decent but not for the wait. Also since the building is open/outside there were tons of mosquitoes and we got ate alive. 0 out of 5 stars DONT RECOMMEND!

The food, service, and views were amazing! Lots of flavors and presentation was spot on.

Bailey helped me. Excellent service and she answered all of our questions. Plus a great personality. We will continue to visit here thanks to her. Food was good too.

amazing food. very very well seasoned. good prices for amount of food. amazing service. gorgeous views (come at sunset) Travis is the best. i'd give it 10 stars if i could.
