Hard to visit sick family members and focus on the service and conditions, but from what my aunt says. They're not the best nursing team, they seem to only to the bear minimum of nursing care.The place is old looking and the beds are worn down.

Upon arriving to The Palms, the atmosphere was horrific. The furniture and equipment (wheelchairs, beds, backboards, no tv) were so old. Everyone was confused and frustrated and no plans were in place for my dad. There were two staff members that really went out of their way to accommodate and make up for the horrible experience we were going through, but all in all it was a big mess. The staff other than the two ladies seemed tired and not enthused of their job. My dad was being transferred to The Palms from Alameda Oaks, but we quickly realized that we made a huge mistake and called them back. Within minutes of my call to Alameda Oaks, my dad was reinstated at the facility. I wish that who ever is in charge of this facility would consider updating furniture, equipment, and accommodate the patients with better supplies and living experience. They deserve that!! Also, the staff deserves to be in an environment that is positive, clean, and appreciated.
