It's with a heavy heart I write this negative review because I prefer to honor great service with good reviews but we felt the need to forewarn others about these apartments. We stayed here for a bit as we transitioned from one home to another. We should have read more reviews before entering a lease at this place. Renters beware. This is a whole different class of living. It does not have a "Vintage Vibe" as they claim. It has a "Try not to die a little inside while living here" vibe. In short- lots of cockroaches, mold, water damage, theft, deplorable living conditions, and untrained staff.1. They don't understand proper pest control.2. When you send a maintenance request, their response is an email that reads "We are receiving too many maintenance requests, please keep them to a minimum."3. These units are all infested with roaches, three different breeds. They never go away, even if you store all your food in containers and clean daily. even 4. There is dog feces EVERYWHERE. They tout a dog park but it's a fenced 12X12 patch of artificial turf that no dogs defecate in.5. They have residents who walk up and down the lot at night checking for unlocked car doors and steal anything of value from vehicles.6. Forget them ever fixing any water damage or mold issues, they don't have a budget for it, but they will promise you it will get done, but it won't.7. They'll show you a cute little model and tell you that's what your unit will look like. That's a lie. They don't even let you see your apartment until the day you move in.8. They have a clause in their lease agreement (might be standard for Texas, in their defense). If you need to move out early due to hazardous conditions, they still charge you up to 3 months' rent after you leave. Staff will not negotiate to ensure your health and safety or to ease the burden and they will charge you this even if they 'relett' within 30 days- so be aware of that.UPDATE: A phone call from management after reading review. "The owners saw your review and asked me to call you-Some of your issues listed were before we took over and pest control did come but forgot to leave a notice." So, no accountability.

New management were making positive changes to the complex! Maintenance takes forever to get things done! It took 10 months to get a simple repair done! I believe that they can't keep maintenance people on the payroll!

So far everything has been great, unfortunately they require 60 day notice and payment immediately (10 days for move out).***FEE's***I didn't read my lease fully I guess but $38 for Trash disposal on top of your lease $5 Bugs - we never had bugs so this was great!!$35 Cable if you use it or not $40-$65 Sewage and Water (Community Split) $85 Renters insurance Quarterly Then add in your own electric and Energy.$869 rent gets up to $1000 a month quickly and easily with little control. Pros:Pool is nice Management is friendly Valet trash App controlled laundry App payments for rent Pricing Friendly Neighbours/quiet Cons:60 days to terminate Forced spectrum cable even if you don't use it. 1:2 pools is always a mess (there's a big tree there so can't really help it)Laundry facilities are almost always full and or half broken.Community Water bill Trash fee Dumpster fee Haven't moved out yet will post about that experience next! Staff is very nice just READ before you lease! Good luck :)

Very disgusting management, they act very sweet at first just to rob your money out, the management changes like every summer. Very rude, arguing and forgetful manager. Worthless old apartments, everything's old and they don't even repair it for months after the complaint. Better pay a little more and stay somewhere good. Once you are out of the lease they start putting all these useless an waste payments on you. They avoid your calls and lie about everything. Trust me guys everything looks good at first but it is not all worth to stay in those apartments. DO NOT STAY THERE. Very bad management.

These apartments are infested with cockroaches and other pests and management does not address the issue even though they will bill you for pest control that never happens. By the time I moved out the entire building I was in was empty due to tenants moving out over this issue because it was so bad. Great location, but absolutely not worth living here.

Zero stars. Absolutely horrible management. These people do not care about their tenants. You put work orders in and they're never done.. You call to inform them and they are ugly to you. Extremely rude employees, the absolute worst experience and apartment complex in corpus, the city should come out and look at the conditions of these apartments. I have put up with mold (having a child and being pregnant), a/c leaks, ac outages, spiders, water leakage coming from the floor boards causing extreme water damage, needing my whole bathroom ceiling to be ripped out because of plumbing issues. After everything, this apartment wants to charge me a fee for me signing a 40 day notice instead of a 60 day notice of $720 when I'm STILL finishing out my lease.. and have been paying this property money even with all these unhealthy living conditions my daughter and I have endured. All I'm trying to do is finish my lease and get out of this horrible apartment complex but they continue to try to make my experience as stressful and miserable as possible. After all the problems i've lived through they are still trying to squeeze any money they can get out of me. DO NOT LIVE HERE. They do not care.

It use to be nice with the previous manager and the management. The new managers don't even know how to respond in a good manner. When it comes to the maintenance service and customer service , I could say it's the worst now. It usually takes a week or more to solve a maintenance problem even if it's emergency. This is not what you expect when you're paying hundreds of dollars for everything. Try to change, it would be better

Great apartment complex. Simple, clean, and very spacious one bedrooms. I enjoyed my stay here with no issues at all. A lot of families live here so there's a sense of community with the only issue being the pool is for the kiddos who enjoy it the most. Overall great.

The buildings are old and honestly 15 dollars a month for the two bins that are there for the roddfield apartments is dumb. I hate that they force us to use spectrum for internet and cable. I was told that the pool on the roddfield side would be cleaned the weekend of my move in ( which was mid April). The ladies up front are nice and so are the maintenance guys but I won't be renewing my lease.
