The Outlaw Bar & Grill

Sat at the bar. Bartender took a few minutes to greet us. Ordered drinks and food. Didn't bring out any of the food, which is not a big deal at all, but not once checked on us after any food was brought out. Queso didn't come with a lot of chips, so we asked for more. Had to flag her down to order another drink. Had to flag her down to close out, due to her talking to other server. Probably would have ordered more drinks had bartender been more attentive. Looked at the tab. Was changed $3.99 for the extra chips. I have no issues paying for extra chips. My issue is that we were not advised when ordering. When I brought this up to the bartender, she advised that "this is not like a Mexican restaurant where you get bottomless chips". We told her that she is not getting the point and I just grave her my card. Took the charged amount for chips off the tip. What could have been a $15-$20 tip became a $5 tip. Food was decent. Draft lines probably need to be cleaned. Beer was starting to get funky taste.

Ok, this was the wife and my first trip here and they didn't disappoint! Outlaw chicken salad was good, gunslinger burger was excellent, and the boudain egg rolls we started with were a first for us! Food and service were excellent!

This is the second time I've eaten here and the food is generally really good. It's a small restaurant with a fairly good sized full bar. I ordered the fried shrimp on the lunch special which comes with a drink and a salad along with the main course all for $11.99. The shrimp were overcooked and I hate to say it but pretty much inedible. I wasn't going to say anything, everyone has an off day. I wasn't even going to write a review because I know this restaurant can make really good food. My friend ordered the shrimp creole and absolutely loved it. The manager came to our table and asked how everything was and I had to tell him, that my shrimp were way overcooked. He insisted that I let him remake the lunch plate and to please give them another chance. Approximately 10 minutes later I had another fried shrimp plate and the shrimp were delicious. Customer satisfaction is what they're all about at Outlaw Bar and Grill. Our waitress was great, she had the entire restaurant covered, my friend and I were amazed at how efficient she was. I'll definitely be back, I want to try their fish and chips.

Appetizers - green beans and queso blanco - were great. Our meals not so much. The burger looked more like a kids burger and someone in the kitchen must love mustard because there was just way too much on it for my liking. Next time I'll state light mustard! I asked to exchange cheeses and was charged which I would have liked to have known beforehand as I would have asked to have the cheese removed. The tenders were more like chicken breast cut into strips which was not a texture my son likes so that was a fail. Ambiance is loud but not so loud you can't have a conversation at your table. Staff was courteous.

We have been quite a few times food has always been good service good. Need some cushions for the seats but other than that we are pleasantly pleased with our dining experience
