The Morales Store

Quaint little store. Nice little café inside. Got a hamburger and fried okra. The fried okra was crispy, which is great. I hate soggy fried okra. You walk in and order at the counter, it is self serve on your drinks, which is tea and water. If you want a soda, you get it out of the refrigerator display. Find a table sit down and look around at all the decor. This is a very old store, it is really neat, and the food is pretty good also.

Fresh, homemade burgers. You cannot go wrong here at this gem! It's worth the stop. And add the tater tots!

OMG!!! We had the burger and fries! Sooooo good! We called ahead and ordered. It was ready when we got there. Services was great! I forgot to take pictures. The place looks like an old country store. It is worth the visit!

Stopped in on our way thru to the bay to enjoy a patty melt with cream gravy (something my husband introduced me to that I wouldn't have believed how good it was til I tried it). The food was great, the service and hospitality equally great and the fact that they sold beer and other cold drinks to go was also very nice. A cute country store and delicious home cooked food. Recommend!

We were traveling through and stopped at The Morales Store to grab a burger! It is a really neat place! Old country store with great food!

Best place to get a burger or chicken salad sandwich anywhere around here! They stay very busy during lunchtime and it's just because everyone around here knows about them and keep them busy!

Don't let the distance from town keep you from visiting. The only reason I didn't give five stars is the amount of time it takes to get your food. I ordered a burger and fries and it took approximately 30 minutes to receive our food. The burger was made with fresh beef and not frozen and as definitely worth the wait and the fries were awesome. I will definitely be back but will probably call in my order before I head that way to save some time.

#1 hands down, Mrs. Diane and the crew there can cook. Always fresh, always makes you full, no matter what you order you will not be disappointed!

Middle of nowhere spot you gotta stop at! Homemade everything, and the burgers are the best!
