Kim Erwin is, without a doubt, the worst realtor I have worked with, even if you use the term 'worked with' loosely. She was absent throughout my entire home buying purchase, her negligence caused delays in the process, and almost caused me to lose the home that I was purchasing. To start, she was not there for the showing - thankfully the owner was in the house. After I put an offer on the house (she managed to communicate with me through email for this, and to have me sign a contract with her, shockingly), she didn't bother to let me know that the offer had been accepted until I asked. Once I had an accepted offer, a realtor submits the executed contract to the mortgage broker. Kim did not do this, and instead told me that was my job when I finally got hold of her a week later. This cost me a week of my closing time. She had the information, just neglected to submit it for me, as was her job. Kim did not show up for the inspection that she scheduled for me, which I thought was weird, as other inspections that I have had there was a buyer's agent present. Thankfully I was there, and had a gate code to let the inspector in, and the owner of the home was there to give him access to the house. The inspection missed many glaring problems with the house. While this was all going on, Kim had given the wrong email to the title company, so I wasn't receiving notifications from them, either. Mid way through this fiasco, I asked Kim if she was too busy to help me, that I could certainly find another realtor who wanted my business. At this point she called me and let me know that she would DO ME A FAVOR and submit the executed contract FOR ME. She then sent me a copy of the contract that I had signed with her, making it impossible for me to seek help otherwise. The property that I was buying had legal complications that made it impossible to obtain a mortgage, which she would have known if she had done her due diligence and acted as a buyer's agent. I ended up having to take a home equity loan after FIVE weeks of trying to obtain a mortgage. At no point did she contact me or try to help, and she actually sent me a text when the mortgage did not get approved, asking me what I was going to do. There were literally weeks that went by where I did not hear from her. When the property finally closed, she did not meet me at the title company, she did not introduce herself, and I have yet to actually meet this person. For all I know, Kim Erwin is fictitious, although I do see her signs around town so have to assume she is real. I know that for my real estate deal, I basically did not have a buyer's agent, although I am sure she received her commission when the property closed. I would recommend ANYONE over her, and actually tried to file a complaint against her with Keller Williams. They did not respond either, which makes me believe that they are not concerned with the quality of their agents. I have two properties currently for sale, and this experience made me chose realtors that specifically were not affiliated with Keller Williams.AVOID THIS REALTOR AT ALL COST.
