The Jay Cafe

The service and food was outstanding! We were driving by and they were the only restaurant open after the snow storm so we decided to try it. They did not disappoint. I ordered the Caesar salad, southwestern shrimp soup of the day, and fries. Hubs had the fried pork chop special w/ premium salad and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was so delicious the portions were great the staff was knowledgeable and super friendly and attentive. Do yourself a favor and don't leave with out the coconut cream pie and peach cobbler it's better than Grandmas.

Fantastic chicken fried steak. Don't forget the peach cobbler for dessert. The service was also great.

This place has awesome food and they are awesome with their burgers. Their jalapeno burger is really good. Service is top knotch I have met the owner and he takes really good care of his customers and spends a lot of time at the cafe. The ambiance is really good feels very Texas and homeish when it comes to it.

Good food with exceptional service. Our server was kind and fast. Price of food is worth it. Family atmosphere restaurant.

The service was really good. My 4 yr old grandson took me out. The food and the service were excellent. We went about 6:00pm so it wasn't busy. The staff was accommodating to a young man taking charge. It was a fun time.

My first time there wasn't bad. The food is good southern comfort food and the burgers are good. The second visit was a wreck. We were not sure whether to seat ourselves or be seated. Once seated we got drinks ordered pretty quick but it took about an hour from the time we ordered our meals to when they arrived and the sides were all wrong on 3 of the meals. Ran out of baked potatoes and ran out of chili. My steak was supposed to be medium but came out very well done and tough. This place has decent food, but were very disorganized and slow. Wait staff was spread way too thin. I'll give them a few months to figure it out and try again maybe.

The burger has very good and the chef salad was huge. I was happy with the food and service. I went to another of their locations and had their turkey special which was not as good

It has a small town country fell .The food was delicious & The burgers are a much try .we will definitely be coming back .

I placed my first on line order, my order was actually ready really quick. I ordered the Blue Plate, Beef Tips over Rice. Well, I was supposed to have Rice. How do you forget the Rice, did you run out like the Rolls. Yes, they ran out of Rolls. You could have at least told me, compensated or something. My meal still cost the same.
