Cute restaurant with a good menu for all crowds. There's a live band some days so be mindful of that if loud eatery's are not your style. Shrimp seasoned very well.

I am on a quick out of town trip for the weekend to visit Rockport.My family and I were looking for a restaurant for dinner close by. We ultimately decided to visit The Groove Steak and Lobster House.Walking into the restaurant it was very interesting because the decor was nice and the dining area. It gives me a fine dining look but yet casual vibe. Also they have live music which was a plus. In the back is the seating for the outdoor patio. I liked the garden and wood logs to use for the wood fire oven. I did also stop into the restroom and found it interesting how compact it was . But also I did like seeing a picture of Marilyn Monroe tooI had a quick look at the menu beforehand and knew I had to choose a dish using their 900 degree wood fire oven. Our server went over the many options for specials and ultimately went with the spinach artichoke with chicken pizza from the listed items mentioned. The pizza was great. Great flavor and a solid combination to have spinach artichoke and chicken as an add on is perfection. I also did get to try a few small samples of my family's dishes: ribeye steak, shrimp alfredo and the bbq chicken pizza. The ribeye was cooked well done, shrimp alfredo had a great sauce and the bbq chicken pizza was delicious too. Dessert we all shared the creme brûlée. It was a great balance of sweetness with the custard, berries and torched crust on top.Overall I did enjoy the experience to The Groove Steak and Lobster house. I would like to come back if I am ever in the area. I do not often visit Rockport but I would recommend The Groove. The price fits the quality of food and it was nice to see appreciation for both military veterans and first responders to receive a discount.

Service awful, food subpar, pricing not worth it, drinks weak. We were second people in at 5:00 when they opened. Three of us got our food and the fourth waited an hour and half to get their pizza. We were done eating before he got his meal. Kitchen backed up but we saw people come in well after us and they ate and left before we got our food. I blame our waiter Brian who was rude and could have cared less when we complained, A beer was as much as mixed drink. I dont understand why this place was so busy. Our first and last time to go there. It was awful.

What a gem, Fantastic! The ribeye was perfectly cooked and so delicious. Got to get the creme brûlée. And the live music was a very nice touch! You can't miss here! Can't wait to go back. Staff was very friendly too.

Called to let them know I'm going with a party of 9 and they reserved a table for us! Food and staff was great as well. The restaurant is really small but gives a good warm vibe.

Finally ate here and the food was so great!!! I had the chicken penne pesto it was amazing!!! My husband had steak and shrimp. The food was pricy but totally worth it! Can't wait to come back!

The Fire pit pizza is excellent. The food is very good. It's a quaint little place that sometimes has live music. I have never been disappointed. The staff are all first class.

After 3 years living in Rockport, The Groove is still our go to for great diner on special occasions too!! Everything we've ate has been incredible. Everything is fresh and prepared with great care. The servers are fun and aim to please. We've got to know the staff well. Most nights have live music!! Sit inside or outside. This is a hit. 5 stars!!

The pizza was quite possibly the worst I've had in my life. Service was extremely slow. The table next to us didn't like their steaks. I would not go back again. We have been going here for like 10-15 years, and that is the end of that relationship. Done.
