The Grape Taste Restaurant

A group of seven of us went to dinner here last night. It was early so it wasn't busy. It was small and had a nice, cozy feel. During our time there I saw several couples that looked like they were having a nice date night. The servers were friendly and offered help and kept our water glasses full. The menu was quite large so I was surprised at how good our food was! Also surprised at how quickly it came out! Several got the crab cakes and were raving. I got a cheddar burger and it was delicious! The enchiladas were good too so they can do a large variety of food very well! I do not live in the area or I would visit regularly. They have a nice selection of wines and a full bar so you can even get a martini. For dessert we got cheesecake. A salted caramel and a pumpkin. Both were delicious! If you're wondering if you should go, GO!

You really must try this place out! It's amazing. The Grape Taste checks all the boxes. John has been our favorite server for a while now and he just makes it better. Last night it was packed and we were in no hurry. Yet he still took great care of us. Please come and support a local business that's family owned.

I had a business meeting in the area, so I decided to check out a new restaurant. (New to me.) I found this restaurant tucked away in the corner of a shopping center, surrounded by a few other restaurants. I tried to compare how many people were at this restaurant vs. the others. It was hard to tell.. when I walked in, it looks a bit like a pub. Small, dark, wine on every wall, and just enough space around each table that you could easily have a wheel chair or stroller roll through. There were two waiters and a bartender managing the front. My waiter was also accepting wine deliveries, so another waitress stepped in to help. I never had to wait long to have someone stop by or look over to see if I needed anything. If you've ever seen the tv show Cheers you'll get an idea of the ambiance and service. The burger was great! Al Green is playing on the speaker as I type this. I have a new spot for a date night when I feel like driving off the island.

The service combined with the delicious food was spot on for our birthday lunch for the office girls. We all enjoyed the food and the service was great

Good ambience but freezing cold. Next time I will come prepared. My sandwich was a disappointment. I was expecting a real Muffuletta. It was on regular bread and not layered as I was expecting. I will use the pictures on Yelp to help next time.

#1 restaurant in LJ that we frequent most. This is where we'll be every Saturday between 2-5 enjoying a flight of wine with our favorite tapas. John is our #1 waiter always, but all the staff is great! I love that everything is made fresh with fresh ingredients, has great presentation & impeccable taste! I have to mention how clean it is too, that's a big one for me when I go somewhere.

This is a nice spot for a romantic dinner, girls night, or even a business meeting. Great atmosphere with great service and friendly servers. They offer wine flights with many wines to choose from! The fried green tomatoes are delicious. They have cheese platters with fruit & nuts that go great with your wines! The full bar has great selections but my favorite was the Lemon Drop Lavender Martini. Lots of tasty tapas (appetizers) to enjoy. They also have some patio seating that you can enjoy.

Took a customer to dinner here on a Wednesday night. I never knew this place existed until now. Started with a three cheese plate which was very good. Then went with a few tapas. Sea scallops, mixed grilled veggies, and kabobs. Everything arrived fresh and hot. Everything was good. The sea scallops were excellent. They have an extensive wine list and a full bar. I definitely will be back at some point. Prices were not cheap but not overly expensive. The service was spot on.

I'm never disappointed. It's a great date night. Tapas are so good especially the oyster nachos.
