The Donut Palace

Not sure where my review from this morning went. People need to know how amazing this place is. I would have given 6 stars if I could have. The service is outstanding. They have their safe standards in place and markings to stay 6' apart. Though there were multiple customers, each of us was treated as if no one else was there. They give you their full attention. That's so great!The selection is expansive; so much so that I took and attached photos for your enjoyment. They have Elmo donuts! They are both tasty and adorable. I have never before seen strawberry cake donuts. They are as delicious as the blueberry. Add to that fruit and cheese danishes and heavenly breakfast tacos and kolaches. Everything we tried was delightful. I think my favorite was the bacon breakfast taco. I can't describe how perfectly the eggs were cooked. Please do yourself a favor and visit Donut Palace. You won't be sorry.

Pretty good place to go get pig/sausage in a blanket. Good selection of donuts too. The donut holes were good as well. I would recommend stopping by for breakfast.

Visited family in Victoria over christmas: this place has the absolute best donuts and kolaches in town, let alone in texas!!! Warm, exquisite and so soft, what a treat! The owners are great too, very friendly.

One of the best donut places I've been to! This was my first time here and had an awesome experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and the donuts were so good! Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area. FYI we got the Apple fritter, sprinkled donut, blueberry cake, and they threw in some glazed munchkins! Each donut was so good!

Rude, disrespectful, and confrontational. So I'm new to town, go in and make an order which included two LARGE PLAIN SAUSAGE KOLACHES. Get home, discover they are ham and cheese (I do not EVER eat/order cheese). So I take them back and explain, politely I might add, that I wanted what I ordered. The lady behind the counter loudly began saying "I know wha chu orda, I know wha chu orda" and then screams "I swear to God, you orda ham and cheese". She repeated this rapid fire at least 7-9 times as I watched with incredulity at this display of absolute stupidity. At this point I told her she could keep them, the money I wasted there, and I would take my business elsewhere. She continued to scream and accuse me of making the wrong order. Completely, absolutely, the most rude treatment I have received in probably the last ten years. Not only will I not frequent this place ever again, I will tell everybody I meet about the rude, disrespectful, confrontational treatment I received and, in addition, I will file a complaint with the BBB. She was way out of line and in this economy her actions just cost this business a valuable customer.
