The District - Grub & Social

Don't let the outside fool you! We were just passing thru Alice and decided to stop at a local for lunch. (We don't do chains if we can help it)The food was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. My husband had the chicken fried steak and loved it. I had the Chicken Bellaire and it was delish. We will be back!

Stopped in for lunch during a work trip. Service was great and friendly, and the food was excellent. Space is a bit noisy due to concrete/stone, but was an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend if you're in Alice.

Atmosphere, food and service were amazing!!! This is a little hidden Gem!! We tried a variety of things and absolutely not one complaint. Our server was friendly and talkative and involved in the conversation not walking off. Everything was clean and the salad bar was very fresh!! They have applied for their liquor license so that should be soon. 11 out of 10 recommend and we will be back!!

I have eaten here around 8 times. The foods good the place is clean but yesterday. The cook / waiter added 10 dollars to a 25 dollar bill for a tip w/o asking and I already had 5 on the table. I'll never be going back.

Just had a great lunch at The District. Stopped here because of Yelp reviews so wanted to agree with them. I had teriyaki wings and onion rings and my husband had a brisket melt with fries. Both were delicious choices and we'd order them again. Jump off the highway and find this yummy spot.
