The Dirty South

Celebrated my husband birthday at Dirty South and Wow what a find!! We had Perla waiting on and wow - fabulous service! Highly recommend the Brisket Tots. This could be a meal on its own. Hubs had the chicken fried steak - crazy good and huge portion. I had the fried shrimp!!! So good and again portions are huge. Beyond delicious and atmosphere very inviting. If you find yourself in Angleton Texas - a must stop!!!

I love sitting out on the patio, but a few minutes in and bees and bugs showed up and they were bad. The restaurant can't help that but it was hard to eat and swat at bugs the entire meal. The food is good. I wish they would add sweet tea. Its never busy so you can always go right to a table. I love the corn brulee. Its a sweet cream corn in an iron skillet with the creme brulee sugar crust. You either love it or hate it. Im addicted.

Surprised by how great the food is. Comfort food. The tater tots did not disappoint, not your traditional tots, these are huge and so yummy. The cheese curds, burger, even Cobb salad all had generous amounts. Service is great, bartender made an amazing rosemary blackberry gin. Band was getting ready to play. All and all great place to go to.

If you are in Angleton on Friday or Saturday, I hope you are visiting The Dirty South. The burgers are out of this world. The potato wedges are fan.tas.tic. The Mac n cheese is totally worth it. And the cocktails are fun and exciting. On the weekends there is live music, if that is your thing. I love coming here.

Service 0Brisket tots 8/10 better off without bbq sauce 10/10Waiting time 4/10,(waited a lot longer than this restaurant) a couple arrived a little later than us. They received service sooner than us. First time eating in this place. Overall experience is a 1, waitress brought out incorrect order. Watched my family eat, while I had to wait on my order. I kept my patience and lost my appetite. I took my plate to go, since my husband and kid were done with the food.

Quick service due to nearby appointment. Hostess and waitress were very cordial. Enjoyed the atmosphere not having been in Angleton for years. Paternal grandmother and siblings born in Velasco would appreciate this restaurant.Look forward to returning.

I enjoy this place more each time I go. The waiters and waitresses are always polite and attentive. We have a regular waitress and that is possible because it is a good place to work. That tells me a lot about management and customers alike.Live music is sometimes offered on weekends to make date night a really fun time.Food is good ...place is clean...fun times here ..see ya there?

Food was amazing. Never had Brisket melt in my mouth.Service was spot on. Definitely going to go back.

Just passing through and stopped for lunch. We had our dog so sat outside. Ed was our server and was awesome. Great food and service. Will definitely return again.
