The Crab Trap Grill

This is the new location and I'm glad they opened back up after the storm. It's a great place for Sargent to have. Not many places to eat and this place has some good options for food. The po boy was delicious. The bread was soft but crisp. Shrimp were large and buffalo sauce was the perfect amount of spice. I could have probably eaten two of them. Also had the sweet potato's fries and I finished every single one. Only down side was they took a long time to get the food to the table. Over 30 min.

Beautifully rustic decor inside. Huge dining room. Waitress didn't introduce herself but was pretty attentive. Food was delicious, hot and fresh. We got an order of Boudain Balls yummy. Sister got Shrimp Basket with sweet potato fries and I got the Combo Platter (2 pc) which was oysters and shrimp. I chose a side salad and fried okra for my sides. This was in Sargent. A little pricey

Fabulous! I love that they have all the condiments on the table, including homemade ranch!!! Service and food were top notch!The sisters running this place take pride in their business! Kudos ladies!

The only restaurant to eat in Sergeant! Delicious grilled oysters, fried fresh shrimp, and fish. Yummy onion rings and awesome Greek Salad w grilled shrimp!!!!!! Wonderful customer service !!!!!!! Ty, Taylor for taking care of us!!!!

Absolutely amazing servers, and their burgers are phenomenal. As is their "You caught it, we cook it" deal!

Favorite restaurant when in Sargent. I love their home cooked breakfast, and we go for dinner too. The Sargent poppers are my favorite. We also love the blackened shrimp. They will cook up your fresh catch and that's always delicious too. We love the family who owns the restaurant. Very nice people.

We sat outside on the covered deck overlooking the water and it was beautiful! We got a dozen grilled oysters to share and it was delicious and cheesy, the toppings reminded me of savory Italian herbs and pizza. This was a great starter. The fried pickles, boudin, and crab stuffed jalapeños were also so delicious. I got the chargrilled barramundi, which was one of their popular dishes, with a side of rice and grilled veggies. The fish was delicious and flavorful. It paired well with the yummy rice and veggies. Highly recommend. Very comforting food and everyone was so incredibly full afterwards. Will definitely come back when we visit the area again!

Food is always good here. Waitress was nice and attentive. Unfortunately they have started charging a credit card fee. Sorry to see this. Apparently they're not aware that it's illegal.

Boiled shrimp was chewy and not fresh, steak was just fair for the price, the salad was great!

The food was amazing as always, good service, music and atmosphere. The crab cakes, chicken fried steak and barramundi was excellent.
