They offer tent insurance if it rains on your big day and it did for ours. But even with the tent it is still gorgeous.

This venue has to be the most amazing place to have a wedding. My husband and I had our wedding reception there in September and all our guest were so pleased and enjoyed their night with us. The place yes was so beautiful and homey which is what my groom and I were looking for and this delivered that for us. The lights wrapped around the big oak tree is just stunning along with the water fall. Every where you look is perfect for a photo opportunity. The food like I have always heard was amazing and they delivered that amazing food to us, all of our friends and family were so well pleased with the food. And to leave the best for last Danielle our wedding planner was absolutely fabulous. She took care of everything, planned the night down to the minute and even took care of me when I got hurt during our first dance. She kept her cool and helped when I know my mom or family would have totally have freaked out. She really made my night being there for us.Seriously go check it out and book it!

PROS: *Absolutely Beautiful Venue*Food Was Tasty*Bridal Suite Provided*Groom Room Provided*The Ceremony & Reception Can Happen All On One Site*Fair Pricing (for the most part) for a Ceremony/Reception Event*Dogs AllowedCONS:*Disorganized Staff*The Event Coordinator Is Pleasant But Not Particularly Helpful. (You have to be diligent about what you want in order for it to happen. See Below For Further Detail). *When Things Do Not Happen Like Planned They Lack At Taking Accountability Or Trying To Remedy It. *The Outside Will Be Very Hot Even With The "Portacoolers". (I believe it was in the low 80s during my reception).*Catering Staff Seemed In Short Supply*NonRefundable Tent Insurance That You Have To Pay Up Front For. (so even if you do not wind up needing tents, they keep that deposit). My "Day of Coordinator", Danielle, that was suppose to direct the wedding and keep everything on track...left half way through my wedding. The super sweet trainee, Kelly, tried her best to keep everything afloat but the wedding quickly went down hill. Danielle left right before cake cutting, so when the Groom and I went to go cut our cake we had no one directing us. We completely fell off our time line; all of the dances were not done at the correct time and my husband and I did not receive a send off. None of the caters sliced my cake (friends and family did). In fact, when my Father/Daughter dance started, my Dad was a little late getting to the dance floor because he was inside helping slice and serve cake. We paid for a champagne toast that never happened. Lanterns were suppose to be hanging in the tree, never happened. They say you will get Valet for your event but ours was hiding in a corner watching a movie on his phone (as the Bride I was not aware of this until after my guest asked what happen to Valet and I was eventually told by a brother where the Valet was). The groom and I had warm beer poured into our champagne flutes because no one told the trainee that we had champagne that was suppose to get passed around, so she panicked and quickly poured what was on our sweetheart table into our toasting flutes. Dinner was also pushed back as the kitchen was lagging so that also cut into our time for other activities. Danielle did not go over a rehearsal walk through with my wedding party til about 5:30pm, cutting it very close to the wedding start time. Luckily when the bridal party got there at Noon, I took it upon myself to do a walk through with the bridesmaids because Danielle was busy with other clients. I had also created a visual chart for my wedding party so everyone knew where they were suppose to stand. Also, you will be responsible for creating your own visual seating arrangement for dinner (don't let that task get dropped on you the day before the wedding like it did me). My mother had called the venue to ask about some missing items (which were eventually returned), and mentioned some of the errors that happened...they said they are going to reimburse us for the champagne that was never poured but we have yet to even see that. I wrote the owner an email with my concerns/grievances and have yet to hear from anyone. Its been over two weeks. People are spending their hard earned money in the thousands on this company. I would hope they would take correcting any grievances about their services seriously.

My husband and I just got married there and we were so happy with EVERYTHING. From the minute we walked in the door to get ready, we were comfortable. There is a bride and groom room for both to bring their wedding parties and get ready. Both are spacious and right inside the venue so you can also see what is going on. Krystal was AMAZING. She handled every detail perfectly and helped in every way possible. Our results were a beautiful wedding with comfort and ease going into it. I would recommend this if you want a gorgeous wedding but stress free. They do almost all the work so all you have to do is get ready. They also provide tent insurance (we ended up needing it because of rain) and heaters for the colder months. They provide in-house catering with some of the best food I've ever had.TLDR: We had the best night of our lives and it was all because of the wonderful professionalism of The Courtyard at Gaslight Square Square and the productivity of its staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Attended a wedding here, cool venue but staff was totally unorganized and were rude to the wedding guests and our friends.I was taking water to a friend in the venue and they told us no water allowed inside, and when I tried to leave at the end of the night after having a beer I got a water to go and they told me I couldn't take water outside, was like a club bouncer. He told me he'd call the police if I left with a glass of water LOL. Beautiful Venue for weddings, however staff's attitude and organization skills need a major adjustment, on the brink of ruining someones magical day.

I attended a wedding this past weekend and I have to say I was impressed by the venue. The layout makes for an interesting circulation of guests throughout the night. There's and indoor section and outdoor courtyard with a dance floor. There was bar setup inside and outside. They serve liquor and beer. Bartenders were quick and served nonstop throughout the night. I will say that the dishes were dirty on a few occasions and that's the reason for the 3 stars. Fork was dirty and wine glass was returned for having a dirty rim. Other than that, this place has a cool vibe and staff stayed busy serving and picking up from tables all night.

The most amazing experience from start to finish!!! I had my wedding here and it was nothing short of perfect!!! The venue itself is unique and beautiful. Krystle Marin is awesome!!!! She was with me through the whole planning process and on top of everything!! All of the other staff (I forget names) were amazing as well. Everyone was so very accommodating. The food was delicious and all my guests were raving about it. Planning a wedding/getting married can be extremely stressful, but Krystle knows what she is doing and was there to help me if I had any questions and made the process less stressful. I 100% recommend gaslight, it now holds a special place in my heart. Thank you Krystle and everyone at Gaslight!!!! Y'all helped make this huge life moment so very special!!!

This is one of the best places in Corpus. We had a work dinner there and the atmosphere was comfortable, staff was quick and polite, food was AMAZING! They had mahi and steak kaboobs on the buffet; mahi was good and steak was as tender as filet! Would be a great place for an event and awesome outdoor courtyard. Definitely looking forward to the next even there!

I got married here in January of 2025, from start to finish my experience was horrible. Starting off I met Danielle and booked the venue with her, we talked about my vision, colors, décor, food and drinks etc. After paying the initial downpayment I attempt to contact her about 6 times with no response. I knew exactly what I wanted and was ready to do all the planning. I heard nothing from her for 4 months!!!!! Finally, after 4 months of attempting contact, one day she finally texts me back. We meet at the venue and she is visibly pregnant. She proceeds to tell me she is due the week of my wedding and will not be my wedding coordinator moving forward. We are then introduced to Kelly, ..... Kelly is unable to pour a glass of wine, carry a glass of wine, or a conversation. My husband, parents, and I have to repeat everything we have told Danielle twice now. While the first impression is horrible, I have hope that AT LEAST Kelly might respond to texts. Moving forward Kelly is also difficult to communicate with, she is more responsive to texts. Unfortunately, it seems to be a different type of communication issue, every time I speak to her every time including my wedding day, I am repeating myself in every interaction. Every time I speak, I am lucky to get about 10% of the conversation remembered, understood, or acted upon. Everything is difficult with this venue, even paying! One would think they at least want their money. After 4 attempts at contact for the final payment Kelly finally responds, choses to meet the next day at 10 am. Upon arrival to this meeting, she says "who are you???"Now for my wedding day, after multiple attempts the schedule is not copy and pasted (I did it for her) onto my BEO. I print out my own schedule, list of vendors etc.... (a wedding coordinators job) since I have lost all faith. I was proven correct, both I and my family had to take over any "wedding coordinator" jobs. If I knew how this was going to go, I would have hired a wedding coordinator. Kelly brought her child to my child free wedding and multiple guests informed me an employee's child is running around the venue. We chose the build your own pasta bar for our small (55 person) wedding, terrible choice. It took an hour and a half to two hours to feed everyone and guest spent a lot of time in line. Even with releasing people by table. Our signature drinks were strawberry mojito and old fashions, I wish I would have done a tasting the mojito was the worst I have ever tasted. Rum, lime and water possibly FLAT club soda. Finally, the venue includes a photo booth. The photos were supposed to be sent to me via email within 48 hours of the wedding. I contacted both Danielle and Kelly 4-5 times to finally receive some of them 3 weeks later. Constantly brushing me off saying, "you should have gotten them." I obviously did not or why would I be asking??? I highly suggest choosing a different venue! Very disappointing experience.

Beautiful venue! Great food! But the venue didn't tell myself and my groomsmen that's the couple of tables that were in our room for changing would be moved outside and just threw our stuff on the floor. If it wasn't for our great DJ from blue moon entertainment (thank you Rene), we would not have stayed on schedule even though we had a wedding planner for the special day.
