13 years ago I got the best cat in the world from this place and have been blown away ever since with the helpfulness of these people, their heart, and their unending devotion to feline kind. We'll be back when it is time to adopt another cat. Your social media presence is killer! Keep up the good work on that.

In order to ourweigh the PAID and apparently fraudulently posted reviews posted as authentic by this organization. I am mirroring AND agree that this operation is not at all what it seems. **** see below****I would encourage people to look at the real reviews on Yelp before you consider this place. It all appears on Google, as if it's a loving adoption and foster business that loves cats. I do not believe the positive reviews to be legitimate or even real, here, on Google for several reasons. Friends and acquitances are unfortunately all too common, misleading the public. This is common, and taking a positive review or a series of them, need to be weighed by the negatives and the failure to respond to negative reviews, speaks volumesThere is something nefarious with the reviews and their "Director". The reviews on Yelp mirror my experience. Rude. intentional avoidance, phone number never answered. It would be better in my view to just do something else if you're unable or unwilling to fulfill your alleged mission or mission statement. It is their desire, it seems, to discourage those seeking to bring a homeless feline, to save a precious life, from doing so. In onc instace, I've read the review was scathing and concerning, especially where immediate danger to some kittens, attacked by dogs, was allegedly ignored. This is believable, based upon my experience. If it is a matter of underfunding, that is understandable. But it doesn't negate or excuse the hostility toward potential clients and avoidance. Nevertheless, ignoring contact and multiple complaints about the director being "rude" should be of concern to anyone seeking their assistance. This was my experience as well. Use discernment because we all know that action speaks louder than words. ***DO NOT RISK YOUR ANIMALS LIFE, HEALTH, OR TRUST THIS ORGANIZATION.LEGAL DISCLAIMER: This is the opinion of this poster/ REVIEWER. The obvious spammed message from. A. Robert J. Is not to be taken seriously as he is spamming the same message on other sites also because he couldn't be a responsible adult. This rescue is nothing short of amazing and if he thinks he can do better than open a frigging rescue yourself or volunteer....bet you won't. Maybe of people like YOU fostered, they could intake more pets but you won't. You just want others to deal with your problems . I'm in New York and even I know what a great rescue they are.

The new digs for this long-time cat shelter are really nice, way out in Saratoga past Tractor Supply and Cabaniss Field. You have to have an appointment to view cats and kittens for adoption. You get a nice tour of all the rooms with different ages of cats. You can visit and perhaps select a new family member. All adoptions include spaying/neutering and shots/microchip.

This place is very hard to get ahold of somebody. When you listen to the automated phone system, they are correct, it is automated so don't try to push any buttons to get somebody on the phone.Their voice mails are hard to understand. They do not spell out the emails so you basically are guessing how it is spelled.Found three baby kittens being tossed around by two dogs. We have nothing against cats but we are dog owners not cats so we had no clue how to take care of them and one of them we think was injured. Finally got the information to email them. Needless to say two days after email I got a response that if I could hold on to them until the following week because that was their next intake time. Uh no thank you. Also in the email it said they needed to be at least 2 lbs, well why does weight need to be accounted for taking in baby kittens who were being attacked and were saved? Also I don't think the one that we thought was injured was really injured just maybe sore because after one day he started moving around when the day we saved them he wouldn't move.Anyway the next day animal control took them in.After they emailed me 2 days later after I did and I responded no I could not but animal control took them another two days went by before I got another response. Not very great with communication on their part. If they are so busy then they need to hire somebody who all they do is answer emails all day long to not keep people waiting around. (But that would be asking for to much)

The woman in charge here is rude as hell. i love animals and would do anything for them but Samantha is very unpleansant to speak with. would recommend a visit because it is a cool facility and most of the employees are very kind and love the cats! you should just ignore her and still go because the cats are amazing! the cattery does a lot of good for the community but the leadership is not great.

Unfortunately we don't recommend this place , due to the fact that we went and took our child to show her and teach her the importance of adoption option to give these fur babies a chance to have a forever home,She was so set on bringing Saturn home, unfortunately our application was turned down just for having another cat that's a indoor- outdoor cat saying that she might copy the other cat going outside and that they have a strict indoor policy, Our child's heart was broken and she was in tears when we left this place, this was her Christmas wish.

Ever since the start of Covid the only way you can view the available cats is by setting up appointments. They do not take walk-ins. Sad to see that they are missing out on many adoption opportunities because not everybody wants to make an appointment for everything.

A caring no-kill cat shelter in Corpus Christi that was a favorite of my cousin who lived in town.BTW, even when you enter the right address (8201 Weber), Google Maps might direct you to an incorrect location on Weber east of Oso Creek. In reality, the Cattery is on Weber west of Oso Creek.
