The Burger Barn

Looks like a small town place to get a good burger. Do not be fooled.Drive on by. Rude counter person. Long wait, cold burger, stale bun, thin Ranch and DISGUSTING bathroom. The fries were hot and the cook that poked your food through a red checked curtain was loud and seemed to have a personality. Thanks to the local diner who helped me hunt down some ketchup. He was the bright spot.

Me: I think I'll have one of those mango margaritas You have on that sign there.Dude at counter: I know we don't have those anymore.Me: oh ok. Well then I think I'll have a SolDude at counter: No, I'm sorry.We don't have that either.Me: ( A little annoyed because I'm thinking.Why don't you just take that Off of your menu board then and spare everyone from all this BS )Okay.Well let's move on to advertisers and I think I'll have the bacon wrapped Jalapeno poppers.Dude at counter: uhh no mam we don't have those either.Me : ok. Well why don't you just tell me what you do have. It will make this a whole lot easier.You cannot make this stuff up.This is a true story. I gave them 3 Stars because the food is very good. My boyfriend especially loves the buns they use for the burgers.And it's pleasant to sit outside and eat.But really if you quit selling mexican beer Or any other thing on your menu why not update the menu. And then the young man wanted to blame everything On the pandemic. Again my inner self starts talking to me thinking" You mean to tell me You quit Offering these items five Years ago and you have not updated the menu!?Finally I do recommend this place for the food alone.It's very good , but be prepared to find a lot of things that are on the menu not being available. Also I would like to add that the staff needs to be trained in customer service.

We were in town for my grandsons basketball game and we were hungry, upon searching Yelp we found this burger joint...as we drove up we were looking for a place to park but this place sits on the end of a triangular lot and next to a busy street which makes parking really awkward...as we entered we noticed that there was not much lighting in the restaurant...there was two employees, one was the cook of coarse and the other was working the register...we ordered and sat down for our food, considering we were the only ones there it took a bit to get our orders...I ordered the chicken fried chicken plate (I should have ordered a burger) and I don't like posting this but it was definitely over cooked...we also ordered a hamburger and that was pretty good burger...i'm willing to go back and have one of there bigger burgers and see if I can have a better experience here...

Always a great experience when I come over. Only thing I can say is it is pricy, but the atmosphere is good the place is clean! It's a great hang out spot! I will definitely be coming back! Shout out to the chef for the yummy food!

This is such a great little hangout place. The burgers are delish!!! Super original. They have a great menu with so much variety. Sorry about the pics. Plates were started by the time I decided to post. But very well served baskets.

I'm a truck driver passing through, I called ahead for my order and it was delicious.

Solid homemade hamburger. Friendly staff. Definitely would return if in the area. Atmosphere was casual and nostalgic from what I saw when I walked in and ordered my food.

Lady that works here is very rude. Food takes forever to come out. Called in order 20 minutes before arrival and have been waiting 20 minutes still no food. Bathroom had no soap and looks like it has never been cleaned.They forgot the bacon on a bacon cheeseburger. Go to Sukasa instead. Fast and friendly

Good food and service just wished it was closer. When in deer camp was favorite place to go.
