The Brick Bar & Bites

I just went on a casual Wednesday. I got the early set up at the bar clean bar great music great space looks like it would be great for big parties and probably a good time.

The place is really nice and cute the only reason I'm giving it a 3 is because the drinks aren't that great lol and the dj sucks .. how do you play 30 seconds of each popular song that goes straight to jersey shore music haha. But my friends and I tried to enjoy ourselves the most we could. Neon lights, slide, awesome rr with a button that turns on disco lights. I wish this place had hookah service it would give it an extra 2 stars ... next to the bar there's a place called social which we also went to

This place made me feel ashamed of myself because I have neck tattoos come on it's 2021 and you are still judging people off their Appearance I'd give my last dollar to someone In need or the shirt off my back .. smh top it off I'm not even from here I was just trying to have a good time

I was at this bar with a group of people. To have a tab at this place they hold on to your card. I would say that when a bartender accepts your card, he/she consents to full responsibility of handling it as if it were their own. Well when we're getting ready to leave the establishment, I make my way to the bartenders to close out my tab and get my card. They can't find my card. We wasted another thirty minutes while they looked, but no luck. The bartender said they must have closed out my tab and gave my card to someone else by accident. They took my number and promised to call me but I never received an update or call back. I enjoy going to this place to hang out or participate in trivia night. The food is good, laid-back atmosphere, etc., but I'm still appalled they would be so negligent. It's obviously the principal of it at this point. The card was cancelled and the only real damages would be the charge that did not belong to me, getting a new card, and rearranging every single one of my automated payments. I get it accidents happen but I just think it's profoundly terrible for a business to operate that way and not even apologize.

The new girl Mallorie has come a long way! Came to the bar today and she was pushing out the drinks and making sure all the customers were taken care of! Proud of her she's come along way!

Loved the atmosphere! The bartenders were nice and attentive along with their waitstaff. Good music was playing and the ambiance was comfortable. For newcomers to Corpus I'd recommend this place. We even picked up their nachos to bring home after a few beers and really enjoyed them! They do need to add beef and chicken to their menu as everything mostly came with pulled pork. Highly recommend!

Service not great and food was not good! We ordered nachos and chips were stale. I ordered The triple decker and it was ok, i thought it would taste alot better then it did! We got to place and stood at table and no one came over, i had enough time to go to the bathroom and come back and still no one came over. We decided to sit at bar and then still waited for drink order and then when we were ready to check out the waitress was still taking orders and could not get to us. No it was not that busy but she had to clean, take orders, and pass food... Maybe they are new and that's why but I will not go here again.

The bouncer is so annoying. This place has gotten so trashy it's insane. Almost everytime I come here, I see a fight. Never tried the food here but I'm sure it's trashy just like the place. Only good thing about this place is that it's decorated alright.

Great beer selection - lots of beer on tap as well as in bottles/cans. Very good whiskey selection - and really, all around liquor choices. The Flat Chested Turkey sandwich was beyond spectacularly sweet, savory, and delightfully delicious. I had one minor issue, but as soon as I so much as implied the issue, it was immediately made right! I highly recommend a visit here, and I will certainly be back next time I'm in the Corpus Christi area!

i had one drink on my tab and they lost my card. supposedly it was closed out but they had no signature receipt for my card so how was my tab closed out. i went on a wednesday too lol so no one was there how would they have lost it. sketch pay with cash next time
