The Blessings Shop

I was going to give 2 stars. I was here with some of my family. They were the ones doing the shopping. I was there just as company. During the visit they said the place was very pricey. From what I saw, the inventory did not indicate or suggest there would be a high price. My buddy is a huge thrifter, so when he says "pricey," then that is the case. Also, the cashier ladies were slow as molasses. We spent an additional 5 minutes for 3 items. I was not at the front to see what was going on. 5 minutes on top of waiting to cash out, it is a long time. It is a thrift store, so you can't expect HEB level speed.

Cute shop! Great price, but cash only???? Major inconvenience... they need to update and get a working form of accepting payment, WITH a card reader.

Wanted to shop here yesterday but when I got there found out they were only open on Fridays and Saturday's. Call before you go.

Wonderful deals and very friendly people to help out. I enjoy going into The Blessing Shop because I always find some kind of deal for one of my projects.

This thrift shop is operated jointly by several area churches. It's not upscale, or overly organized, but it's an interesting place to browse through, and help a good cause also !!! and the volunteer ladies who run it are VERY NICE !!!!
