Thai Spice

Loved and appreciated the welcoming service from the owners. The restaurant is very beautiful, and the relaxing music in the background really set the mood. I'm a lover of Thai cuisine, and it usually doesn't disappoint.There were definitely some highs and lows during our first experience at Thai Spice.My experience with the Pad Thai was mixed. I enjoyed the noodles, but the protein--particularly the beef--was too chewy and difficult to eat. My first bite left much to be desired, but the noodles did improve toward the bottom of the bowl. Oddly enough, my favorite part of the dish was the fresh pineapple and the tea, which really brightened the meal.My husband ordered the basil fried rice with chicken and lamb, and his dish had waaayyy more flavor than mine. It also had quite a strong kick at just a 2 spice level. He did mention that it was more hot than flavorful, but overall, it still tasted better than my Pad Thai.We would rate the food 3 stars overall, but we're giving 4 stars because the service was outstanding. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. Best wishes to the owners as they continue their business.

Quiet, with a nicely classy feel and a friendly greeting from the owner, Thai Spice was a pleasant experience for a lunch or dinner dine. My first visit I got Tom Yum veggie, and second the pad see ew tofu. While I wish they used more traditional ingredients (was really hurting for the lemongrass and galangal in the Tom Yum, and was perplexed by the edamame and jicama in the drunken noodles), the overall combination was still tasty for both instances. Quite pricey, but I guess that's the problem for getting Asian goods in Corpus Christi. The presentation was well executed, and I appreciated the side of fruit that seemed to come with all the formal dishes.FYI, it seems several of the dishes on the last page of the menu come in a deep-fried bowl with the rice at the bottom in relevant dishes - might be worth asking about in the event you also found this a little extraneous.

highly impressed!! I loved the presentation of everything so aesthetically pleasing and I loved the addition of the fruits for the main dishes. Everything was so flavorful as well.The owner(?) was SO kind and sweet. He was constantly checking in on us and making small talk with us. You can clearly tell how much he loves working here :') 11/10 service & food

Thai Spice is an excellent restaurant with great service! I was in town for work and this place came highly recommended by two of my coworkers. Owned by a local couple, I got to meet both of them who pleasantly greeted me when I came in. Food was great and I will definitely come back, the next time I'm in town!!

Awesome place, food and service is amazing. Highly recommended. Was told by our waitress that they serve more during lunch since my wife and I were the only two people there on a Friday evening. For the quality of food and service, this place should be wait list for dinner.

Hard to believe, I have lived in Corpus for many years but never tried this restaurant. I visited last night, it's a small intimate restaurant. We were greeted very warmly. The menu is extensive. Our server, who may be the owner was super friendly and helpful with the menu. We went basic with the fried rice, no joke, probably the best I have eaten at a Thai restaurant, and it is served in some kind of fried looking tortilla. I will DEFINITELY be visiting this restaurant again.

I would highly recommend this place. The shrimp pad Thai was the best I ever had. So delicious that I savored every bite. The coconut ice cream. Try this place the owner is really niceService very friendly and fast

I would love to rate this more but I can't. The owners are the nicest people and provide great and welcoming service. The food just isn't great. It's ok. We got the crispy rolls and they were bland if not dunked in sauce. Zero flavor. The pad thai was just not flavorful. A little peanut flavor but that's it. The best part of it was the fried tortilla it was served in. The yellow curry was ok. Not great not bad. Lastly, the bathrooms were old and dirty. For a place that represents itself as higher end and charges those kids of prices, it should be better.

Amazing thai food! I am visiting Corpus Christi for the weekend and was craving thai food so I decided to check this place out--the food here far exceeded my expectations! Great service from the moment we stepped inside. The food was bursting with flavor with every bite. Highly recommend!

I went to Thai Spice for the first time, it was a great experience. The waiter was efficient and very nice. The food was outstanding! So delicious, I had pineapple fried rice with chicken. It's small and cozy.
