Texas T Kobe

The steaks tasted good, however, what is advertised online and what you receive are completely different. If you want wagyu or Kobe this venue is not providing that grade of beef. I have had many wagyu and Kobe steaks and the steaks I received were not even comparable to prime marbleing. I will try to post photos under this review. Kobe tenderlion on the bottom and Waygu tenderloin on the top. They look completely different than the images online. Neither turned bright red either.

Very disappointed with the food. I have ordered raw wagyu beef from Texas T before. Their raw meat products are great. So when I saw they had a store front on my way home and serving BBQ I was excited to try it. I knew it would be pricey, but hoped they would at least execute a good sliced beef sandwich. While the meat was tender it was almost cold, very little smoke flavor, no seasoning and there was very little meat as you can see in the photo. The lemonade that came with it was yellow water. I gave it two stars rather than one because at least while you are there you can get some good raw wagyu beef and cook it better at home.

I'm not sure where to even begin on this review. I placed an order to be delivered next day. The lady taking my order spelled the address wrong. When I caught it on the shipment notification, I immediately called to get it corrected. She noted it was fixed, but the shipment should still deliver same day. The shipment did not deliver the same day, in fact it delivered next day at 7:30pm and arrived spoiled. When I called back and talk to the lady to get it corrected, she did not answer my calls for 2 days. Understandably it was the weekend and she was not around her phone, she did respond to text messages and said she would talk to her boss on what they could do. She did call me and say she would personally be delivering replacement steaks and picking up the expired ones. She said she would do this the Wednesday before thanksgiving, and never showed. She then said she got busy and would deliver the Friday after. Never heard from her. To this day, I still have not heard back from her and have emailed the company without a response either. This has been an absolute nightmare and all I wanted to do was send my boyfriend's parents a nice thank you gift, but instead I'm left with no steaks and over $100 out of pocket.

We have not eaten these so I cannot comment on taste. We were given 4 steaks as a gift. Unfortunately, they arrived a day late, were thawed and smelled bad. It took almost 2 weeks and at least 2 broken promises to get the replacement steaks. These replacements steaks didn't look anything like the originals or the photos on their website for boneless Wagu Ribeyes. The originals had no huge hunks of fat in them. The tails were trimmed off. At $38.50 a pound, I would have thought these would be trimmed too. I may change my review upon eating them but I think we should have received a product that closely resembles what they are selling

Excellent barbeque sandwich. My friend had a baked potato and it was great. Very clean and service was excellent.
