Outrageous PRICES this company quoted me almost double what 2 other companies quoted me. I have made numerous phone calls for the company and they will NOT CALL ME BACK.

After getting a number of quotes we decided on Texas State Roofing. Our experience with Texas State Roofing was great. Bill was very professional and answered all of our questions. My roof was even upgraded at no extra charge. His roofing crew did a great job and the clean-up was excellent. We would Highly recommend them.

We would give this company a 5 star rating for the quality of the work, the materials and the actual guys doing the work up on the roof. Very professional workers. However, we have to give the Texas State Roofing Company a 1 star on communications. Their communications can best be summed up as horrible. We had them install two roofs. One on our home here in town and also one at our other house 125 miles away. We heard the doorbell ring at 7 a.m. one morning at our in-town home. Five men were standing around on our lawn. We had no idea who they were or why they were at our house. Of the five men, not one spoke English. I finally figured out who they were after one of them called his english speaking supervisor and I spoke with him and he told me it was the roofing crew. No one had let us know they were coming that day. I had not taken down the security cameras or anything. The 5 man crew did excellent work but I do not speak Spanish and I had several questions that I would like to have had answered. The supervisor, who could speak Spanish, would show up for a couple of minutes once a day and then leave. I would never know when he was going to be there. I would even be home sometimes when he showed up but would miss him because he would not let me know he was outside. He actually got mad at me for wanting to have questions answered (I am not a roofer and had a few questions). His attitude got worse with the out of town house. The man said he would call me and let me know what day the roofing crew would be at the out-of-town house. I got a call the day before and drove 125 miles to meet them and take down the security cameras and unlock the yard gates so they could get their truck and trailer in. They were to arrived at 11 a.m. At noon, I began to get concerned as no one had showed up. At 1 p.m., they still were not there. At 3 p.m., I called the supervisor. No one knew where the crew was. They called around and could not locate the crew. No one had called me from the company. Finally, late in the day, they said they had finally located the crew and they were still in the Corpus Christi area and would not get to our house for several days. I drove back to my home, having driven 250 miles round trip for nothing. I had to make another 250 mile round trip later. I stayed at the out-of-town house while the crew worked. It was the same crew with no one that could speak English. I wanted to talk to the supervisor about several things at the house. He would show up once a day for a few minutes and leave without making his presence known. Moreover, this individual became very testy with me. I love the hand driven shingle nails and the material used but hated the lack of communication. If you can avoid that particular supervisor and nail down exact dates and times, I would highly recommend Texas State Roofers.

Approx two weeks ago my Mother called Texas State Roofing to request a repair estimate on the roof they installed 7 years ago. The flashing around the chimney allowed water to infiltrate the home resulting in water damage to the flooring on either side of the fireplace. A Texas State Roofing representative examined the roof and determined that the roof is fully functional and no leak is possible from the chimney area. In fact, he found the source of the water infiltration. There is a small crevice in between the brick near the foundation on one side of the chimney. That, he determined, was the source of the leak resulting in four thousand dollars of damage to the interior flooring. Now, my Mother is 87 years old. She 'bought' that explanation. My Father is 94 years old and is wheel-chair bound. At the outset, the Texas State Roofing representative was told that an independent insurance adjuster has determined the cause was"failed prior repair attempts around the chimney". There was NO repair attempt by the homeowners. The only person on that roof was Texas State Roofing. The water damage is on both sides of the fireplace.. not on one side (mortar crevice). Texas State Roofing installed this roof 7 yrs ago. I instructed my Mother to allow Texas State Roofing to 'make it right' by having them inspect and repair the roof even if it's at our cost. I am appalled by their response. In fact, the representative told my Mother he would 'call back with an estimate to repair the mortar' are you kidding me? He never called her back. My Parents windstorm deductible is $5,000.00 so they are left with the cost of repairs.. So, what am I left to do? We allowed Texas State Roofing to make it right.. and what they presented to my elderly parents was ... well, you decide.

Called Texas Roofing and two other local roofing companies to get quotes to remove two leaking sky lights and reroof the openings from my sisters house. Chosen Texas Roofing because of the customer reviews I saw for them. The gentleman that came to give my sister a quote was very professional, explained the work to my sister and her husband and had the best presentation literature of all three companies I called. The crew that came to do the work were quiet, fast and friendly. Left no mess what so ever. My sister and her husband are very thankful for the work. It was important to me that the work was done by a professional and reputable company. It's obvious to see how Texas Roofing gets its top notch ratings. Well done and thank you. Most put together and trustworthy company I encountered after the hurricane. Respectful crew that cleaned as they went and were a joy to have around while the work was completed. While I hope to not need a new roof anytime soon they would be the only company on my list to call the next time around.

Texas State Roofing Company in Corpus Christi replaced my roof! Everyone was very professional and we have the BEST roof in our neighborhood. The workers did a GREAT job and cleaned up everything. We love our roof and recommend this company....
