Spacious with plenty of seating. They have a section where you place your order, at the counter. This place has no AC. After placing our order, we were offered to dine in at the adjacent building that does have AC. We were taking our food to go, so it made no difference to us. They also offer drive through service. For those dining in, simply sit and the food comes to you. I liked that they had complementary shelled peanuts. I ordered a large loaded baked potato. Brisket was great. I also ordered a small mack n cheese to taste it. Didn't care for the mac n cheese. I will definitely be coming back to try more things from their large menu choices.

Don't miss your exit! This BBQ is the BEST I have ever had in Texas! We pulled over on Highway 281 while headed southbound. There is a Diner with AC and a 2nd building that is for more casual seating (screened in patio) or takeout. We ordered the Chopped Brisket Sandwich with a potato salad side. The meat was flavored and smoked to perfection. The bun was fresh, soft, and toasted. The ice tea was excellent. They had an extensive menu of other classic BBQ dishes and I overheard another customer praise the seafood. While enjoying our meal, we briefly chatted with the owner Brian who was very welcoming, along with his friendly staff. He explained that the majority of his restaurant business are customers that drive by since its location is in a remote area. The great news... he offers catering all the way from San Antonio to McAllen, Hidalgo, and in between!My husband & I plan on making this a destination for BBQ when we do our monthly road trips to SPI.

Found this jewel after a 4H competition. Staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in. They said they are known for their pulled pork on the sourdough bun and their steaks. Their menu had a little bit of everything. We had the pulled pork, brisket and Asian street tacos. It were delicious. Definitely a great local choice. Chatted with the owner! They have a nice big screened in dining area with heaters, an outdoor area with picnic tables, and an inside heated/AC seating area. Definitely recommend you stop!

My parents live in Falfurrias & I always make a point to stop and eat here whenever I'm in town visiting! The food is always great & the staff is very friendly! My favorites are the chopped brisket & sausage with a side of potato salad and pinto beans. But I really don't think you could go wrong with anything here! Definitely give it a try! :) My kids also love it too!

Chopped beef on sourdough was delicious! Not your average chopped brisket - this was prime meat. Not the ends or leftovers. Great smoke flavor and sauced just right. We will be back!

Had a chopped "brisket" sandwich that had no relationship in smokiness, flavor or texture to authentic Texas Beef Brisket.It was:Bogus baloney cow promoted as "brisket",but what do you expect ? It was only 8 bucks.The roll was very good!

Stopped by on our way back to the valley. I have to say, brisket was very good, tender and juicy. My onion rings were crispy and tasty. Service was welcoming and friendly, it took a little to get our food, but we happened to arrive during the lunch rush so it was expected. Definitely worth the wait.

We wanted food on the way home, but not your typical Whataburger or McDonald's. We stopped at this place and WOW! Great food!

Where can I start? Food? Delicious, flavorful, softest bbq I've ever eaten. Brisket sandwich no other sandwich cokes close. Loaded baked potato! Awesome flavor and more than enough for two people. Service? Owners are awesome and very welcoming. This is one place that deserves all the business in the world. Price wise, not expensive at all considering the amount of food that is served. We tried the brisket sandwich, cheese curds, loaded potato, pork ribs, all on point. Best lunch ever! Two dining areas, one with AC, one without and very comfortable either way.
