Tex Best Travel Center

Another nice travel center with clean and very nice restrooms. Perfect travel stop. Great prices on gasoline. All kinds of snacks, drinks, hot food, souvenirs, etc. Diesel for trucks in the back. Not as big as a Buc-cees but still very nice. Suitable for all travelers, including buses.

They had a great selection of items. Spacious bathrooms. I loved the paintings near the bathrooms. I know we're in Texas, but to have NO VEGETARIAN items. Cmon, and then their little restaurant was closed so I was unable to order warm food. Cashiers could also be a little friendlier.

I don't know if it's because it's the day before thanksgiving but we stopped here today and every single bathroom stall was disgusting. I've been here many times before since we travel quite a bit and never been like this. I could understand if one stall was dirty because I know people are gross but ALL OF THEM?

This is one of my favorite stops for coffee and gas. Restrooms are always clean. Coffee is hot and if not, they will brew some immediately for you. Bakery looks delicious but I never order, no sweets. Lol. Keep up the great work guys.

When we travel from the RGV to San Antonio or back, we like to stop and get snacks and gas here. We have visited more than a dozen times. Here is what I like. The women's and men's restrooms are very clean and spacious with many stalls available; there has never been a wait line when we arrive. There is a generous selection of prepackaged snacks and drinks. I have only gotten coffee once, but it was hot and tasty. I have not ordered food, but there are plenty of tables to eat if you wanted. It's our new favorite pit stop when we travel. Thanks TexBest!

This is a great place to stop for bathroom break and snacks. Very clean and great services. I am pleased that they also have Tesla Superchargers here and seem to support EV. However, for those of us that drive electric vehicles other than Tesla, they have no charging options. Please install a few NON Tesla charging stations. There are many partners to work with. Electrify America and ChargePoint to name a few. Many new , non Tesla EVs coming out this year! Thanks.

Worst travel experience. Took them almost an hour for everything from getting us to our table and on getting us our food. Seafood wasn't really anything exciting considering the location. Calamari looked like something they had bought frozen from a food provider not fresh. Our food was brought out warm and couldn't believe the cole slaw was warmer than our food, ugh! I did notice a lot of unhappy customers leaving the restaurant very unsatisfied and complaining about there food. But along strolled the owner like nothing. I would not recommend this place not unless you plan on your whole day being spent there.
