Tensai Sushi

I use to love Tensai but it's definitely changed over the years. The food isn't the same, the servers aren't very attentive, overall just a very ehhh

I need to remind myself to not come back here but I get suckered by in cause lack of options and I like sushi.I specifically said no fried sushi. I asked for the roll w eel and....ya I got this fried sushi w like eel bits on the side. And it wasn't even the good fried bits. It was like this weird burlap sack around rice kind.The fish color, cut, and shape look peculiar to me.If u want to find out, go ahead.On a good note. I did not get sick after eating so...The staff is young and like their first job or something so I don't wanna bash customer service. They seem to try.

The Asian fusion portion of their offerings are decent. It will all depend upon your taste in Asian food.... However, I do not recommend the sushi. There isn't anything good or authentic about the sushi. The rolls are very dry, with little flavor. The sushi is terrible..

You have to ask for regular soy sauce because at the table there is a unusual thick, syrup sweet sauce. The quality of the sushi was very poor. Therefore the ratio of the sushi was more rice than ingredients. If you are used to high grade sushi this place is not for you. Furthermore my Gouka breaded sushi roll was very over cooked.

Sushi in S. Texas was pretty much what I expected. It matches everything else you would expect in the god forsaken hellhole. (Warning) you may experience the feeling that your rear end turned into a fire hydrant after eating here....

Dirty walls, tables, incompetent and ignorant waiters. Your order will take more than 45mins. On top of all that, the worst tasting sushi. Dry rice, old fish, skimming portions and horribly crafted rolls. Everything else on the menu is badly done as well.It seems like the owners don't care and take advantage that there are not many other places to eat in Eagle Pass. Pricing is ridiculously high for this dump. I would love for them to strive to provide the quality and service they probably set out at the beginning of their restaurant career.

Terrible service bad, 2 hours on the wait. We will never come back here. Food was cool and not fresh at all.

Disappointed with the quality. There is a gnat infestation. I couldn't finish my food or drink because gnats kept landing on my food. Gnats were also standing on the sauces that are left out at the tables which just felt unsanitary. Our food was cold, and the waitress had to re heat it. The waitress was very kind and did her best.

I've been here twice, and both times I had an amazing experience. The Dragon Ball is great to start with. I've had four different rolls and they were great! I plan on returning regularly to be able to try the different rolls. The rolls that are fused with Mexican ingredients are especially good.

It's a hit or miss with this place. Sometimes the food is decent, sometimes it's not that great. The restaurant in Mexico is 10x better than the one here. The service is better and the food tastes better there, but why not here? It's the same company and same owners. Service is also a hit or miss, you may get that one good server on a good day. It's pretty much a gamble when you eat here. The poblano soup is really good, also the rolls aren't half bad either. We always get the Gohan Tigre, but I'd rather go to Mexico than eat at the one here unfortunately...
