TC Auto Service

TC did all around brakes on my truck Dec 2022. After a while I noticed excessive brake dust buildup on my wheels. At first, I didn't think much about it, but it continued. I thought whatever brake pads TC installed must be the culprit. Not TC's fault actually. So finally I returned to TC Aug '23. No problem! They replaced the pads with different ones, no charge, no hassle, no BS. Great service, customer focused, while standing behind their work, and that's how to win loyal customers. Thanks to Luis and all the crew at TC. My advise is to go here when you need your car or truck serviced!

I had my new-to-me car inspected at TC auto. I called and the gentleman was more than happy to explain what their complimentary 42 point inspection was all about as well as their complete inspection that was $159. Wanting to make sure this new (used) car was safe I opted for both inspections. Within a couple hours I was sent a detailed list of things from their courtesy inspection that needed repair along with photos. And soon after received a phone call with the details and he was happy to help with any questions I had. My reasoning for a missing star was I asked for the details on the $159 inspection and was told everything looked great, but that could have been because the seller wiped it clean (?!). I'm just your typical women who knows nothing about cars and had no idea this was possible. I felt taken advantage of for not being told about this before I agreed to pay $159. On top of that, there was some kind of $12 fee I was not told about that brought my total to $172 after taxes. I really appreciate their kind customer service and their nice clean waiting room but I would still recommend anyone who has no clue about cars to ask around before spending money here.

Everyone from the phone call to ask questions to the gentlemen that received my vehicle to the staff at the counter was amazing. They were polite, quick, friendly, and very accommodating. I asked about the time if I wanted to add a specific service and one of the guys behind the counter jumped up and said "I can do that before they inspect your vehicle", but it was too late, the inspection guys were quick. But he managed to get it done quick when they hit back. Definitely a strong competition to my usual place. The speediness and friendliness may win them over tho. I'll definitely use them again to see if it's consistent

I wish I would have found them sooner. The workers at the front desk are respectful and professional. My personal experience:Took my card to get my inspection. Quick and seamless. Next experience: went in for an oil change and mentioned that my car had been leaking. They changed a plug out for me and didn't charge, which was a big blessing. Just and overall, GREAT experience.

Very frustrated with my experience here. I had my upper and lower controller arms replaced at a fairly high price but I needed it as I was about to be driving cross-country to Florida. A year later and I am hearing a loud pop every time I turn my steering wheel with full deflection to back out or pull out of a parking space. I took it in to a new mechanic in San Diego today, about a year and 3 months after the controller arms were originally replaced, and they show me how one side upper controller arm is broken and will require replacing due to it having been fitted with a cheap ball joint part. The other sides has no issues and was fitted with the more expensive part. This mechanic says he believes whoever did the original replacement (TC) may have not wanted to delay the maintenance to get another high quality part and used a much cheaper one, which led to all the damage only being on this one side. Pretty ridiculous that I had the whole thing replaced and it's now causing me issues again only slightly more than a year later. I am very dissatisfied with this result. I cannot even leave this review on their main website as there is an issue with the reCAPTCHA and I am assuming they are leaving this domain issue up so that nobody can leave negative reviews on their main page. Do not go here.

I have used TC for several years and they have always been very friendly and fast. Today I stopped by on my lunch hour for a inspection on my vehicle knowing that I was taking a chance on how busy it would be and whether they would have someone able to do my inspection when I got there. They explained that one technician was on another job and one was at lunch. the informed me that it would be a 25 to 30 minute wait and asked if I was OK with waiting which I was since I had already planned on using my whole lunch hour. They checked in with me numerous times letting me know they haven't forgotten me and letting me know that status. I was done and back to work within my 1 hour lunch. I know they don't really make money on inspections so if they put such great customer service when that is all you are coming in for, you know their service is great!!!!!

Was a day late in giving me the diagnostics. Then proceeded to send me the affordable price of $993 to install a $80 starter. Ontop of the $172 fee for them to LOOK at my vehicle

My alternator went out on a Sunday morning 23 miles from the middle of nowhere. AAA could only tow to a recommended garage who accepted cars on Sunday and we are forever grateful TC Auto fit the bill. Amazingly professional, honest, detail oriented and didn't try to sell me services I didn't need. We live in Austin so coordinating a rental car and dealing with the repair from afar could have been been a huge pain, but everyone at TC Auto treated us like family. Wish I could give them TEN stars for their professionalism and excellence.

I paid $2,400 to have me radiator, the fan, an oil leak, and the spark plugs changed . Just to wait a month and find out it was never fixed correctly. They screwed up my car so bad I am having to get a new one. The oil leak was NEVER fixed. And they replaced the radiator just to crack it again themselves. I would sue them if it would be worth the money I would spend on fees. They are crooks. DO NOT GO HERE !

This company is awful and their fees are outrageous! They did brake work on my vehicle and 1 week later the brakes went out while I was driving. I took my car back to them and the mechanic said " you must have hit something!" Then proceeded to charge me another $500 plus to fix their mistake! Please do your research before using this company
