Fish tacos and a mezcal old fashioned were the perfect ending to a long work day. Sat at the bar since I was solo--friendly and efficient bartenders. It's a lively sports bar with a cool vibe.

I have to start with parking Ample parking - easy in and out. Service was quick and so polite Very sweet older person. The coke was authentic Mexican coke in a bottle. ( they serve alcohol) My father recommended Milanesa de Res ( breaded beef steak) GREAT CHOICE. They give you an abundance of good food. Two large pieces of meat, rice , beans , salad and fries !!! Definitely enough for two or a take home meal. There is great music playing plus they have serval Televisions. Roomie enough to bring a large group. A must visit when in Laredo TX. Ps I know my dad will be taking me back again before I head home.

Five Star tacos. Very attentive servers. Authentic flavors. Support the mom and pop businesses when you can. If your not in the mood for tacos, the tortas are done right too.

I was in town on business and I didn't pick the spot but I guess this post picked me. As I came in to the establishment I could tell they had remodeled this establishment sometime back Our party instantly raved about the chips and salsa and one of them even took the complimentary chips home but not the salsa but that's a story for another time. I noticed that this restaurant is a Laredo institution slinging mini tacos of Al Pastor since 1977 off Market St. They have expanded to include a few more locations but this seems to be the original spot at the heart of the city. Service was good but I noticed that they had more of homely feel as today it seemed all the abuelitas were not only in the back in the kitchen but on the floor as waitresses as well. So no eye candy for the single menfolk here. LOL No worries. The real eye candy was on the plate I ordered. I ordered their house speciality and what they tout as their signature menu item the Al Pastor tacos. I also ordered the two other mini tacos: one of Molleja and one of Tripa. I asked for them both medium with a side of charros that were offered but ordered a la carte. In fact, all their tacos are al la carte NO combination or plate offering or pairings here. That alone can get pricey. EVery mini taco was just under $3 but the speciality tacos run about $3.50-4 depending on what your order. I noticed the mini tacos didn't come with "cebolla y cilantro" but have to be asked for on the side and don't come on the plate to compliment your order of tacos. Others at the table ordered array of plates but funny that those plates come with side offerings but not the mini tacos. The charros beans were amazing but I didn't see the chorizo or cilantro in them that I accustomed to seeing. The flavor was good but a little watered down but overall these charros are pretty standard. The mini tacos were served nicely but a little too crispy as I ordered mine medium because I like some charring and some crisp but I like a tender center on my mollejas and tripas. I actually would love to find a place that makes Tripas the way my mom and dad them from the "disco" to the cast iron pan estilo casero with tomatoes, jalapenos and a little garlic. These mini tacos were seasoned nicely and not overly done as far seasoning goes. The tortillas were yellow corn and doubled for each taco. I kinda wish they would of been dipped in a little frying oil or in the meat juices and served otherwise these tacos would give this place 5 starts instead of 4. I know I am probably nitpicking here but to be wowed I expect a lot. I want a place to put out all the stops especially in a place like Laredo that is right on the border to the motherland. Espero mas! But if this place was in San Antonio it would instantly be in the Top 2 or 3 in the city because this how mini tacos are done. I was really impressed with salsas here as well as they done fresh and you can taste how they used chile guajillo, pasilla and ancho along with the jalapenos and serranos. Bravo Taquitos Ravi. Bravo.

Ravi's is a pretty popular restaurant within my family. On the day of my recent visit, two other members of our family happened to be at the same restaurant without even planning it!I typically order some tacos but on this day I ordered the torta de milanesa. I loved that the bun was fluffy and not tough like I've had before. The crunch of the milanesa was perfect. My poor brother ordered 5 fajita tacos but only finished two. These tacos come packed with meat so you might want to take it easy when ordering! My fiancé ordered the fajita torta, al pastor taco, and a fajita taco. Everything came out great. Even though we were sitting outside, the service was not lacking.

Food was tasty and service was good. Serving sizes were small so I thought it was a little pricy for what I got.
