Taquero Mucho

This was the first time I ate there and let me tell you, it's amazing. They have very wonderful service and the food was very delicious. There was absolutely no fat in the meat which is a common thing I see in most taco places which I do not like. The only thing I do wish is if the dining area was located at a nicer spot. Having the taco truck next to the auto shop isn't very pleasing to sit and eat food around. Either way, the quality of the food surpassed all the noises from the auto shop close by. Would definitely recommend and would eat there again! I truly love the display as well, the way it's serviced to you just makes you feel special! It's all about finding the right time of day to go eat there where you have your space to enjoy your food!

Sopes were delicious and so was the baked potato with cheese!Tacos are good also, queso fresco was delicious

This is the best place to eat in McAllen texas, the best tacos in town! Like Reynosa tacos! I recommend it!!!!!

Our son had been wanting to try this place for a while. During the day it is a tire shop. In the evening it's a taco truck. The prices are not bad especially when you consider the portion size. The sincronizada was one of the biggest I've seen. Our teenage son didn't finish half. The meat was flavored very well and everything was presented very nicely. The taquero mucho is a sampler of tacos, sopes, and lonches. The bread in the lonches was super flavorful. I really liked it. It was very messy and hard to eat though. The one weird thing is that the hamburger doesn't have a hamburger patty. It is more like a torta on a hamburger bun. The service was good. Next time we will order less as the portions were simply huge.

I have been seeing this place on my Facebook feed and decided to see what the fuzz was all about. When we first got here we were told to wait while they brought a table out. I'm guessing it was the owner who came up to us and provided menus. Then it proceeded to go downhill from there. We noticed around us that they were serving them beans, chips, salsa and provided them with napkins. However, we just had beans in our table which were ok but needed more " caldo". After about 15 mins the same guy comes up and says " oh, I forgot to ask you if you wanted something to drink" when we finally ordered, we noticed more people arriving and then noticed that their food arrived also. Hence we are still waiting for our food. I ordered the espadas which is tostadas and fajita which was COLD! I returned my food. Guy comes up with my tostadas and the wrong order of tacos. Then proceeded to go back and get my husbands order corrected. 5 mins passed comes back with the wrong order AGAIN. My tostadas were Soggy and did not have good flavor. Overall did not have a good experince.

For the price, overall experience wasn't top notch. Tacos were okay. The meat was too seasoned and therefore, too salty for my particular taste. I had both tortilla de maíz en aceite and sin aceite, and I preferred sin aceite between the two. When mixing the potato, parts of it were hard and to me seemed like it had been sitting there for a while. Overall, it wasn't bad, but there are plenty of other good taquerias in the RGV and less expensive then this.

Super delicious food. Super good prices. Fast service. It's some of the best tacos I have had in the RGV!

Espera para comida es muy largo cuando ordenas de DoorDash. Los trabajadores son rudos y no te ayudan para nada si no lo pides. Te pueden ver y no te asisten, yo ordené por el aplicación de DoorDash y la señorita que estaba haciendo el DoorDash me mandó fotos que no le estaban ayudando. El señor en rojo es el que hace la comida y es bien rudo con la gente, se limpió el sudor y no se lavó las manos!! No se cambian los guantes tampoco cuando agarran otras cosas que no son comida. Yo llame cuando la señorita me dijo que estaba esperando por vario tiempo, cuando llamé ellos me dijeron que ella no se había bajado para recibir el orden pero si se bajó ellos estaban ocupados comiendo y preparando la comida para los compañeros y no el DoorDash. Ellos querían decir que ella era la culpable, cuando ella estaba allí esperando el señor de rojo nomas no la quería asistir. Muy feo lugar para ordenar comida en la noche! Tengo fotos también de los hombres que no se lavan los manos y preparando la comida.

AMAZING!!! The food was delicious. The staff was friendly. The sitting area was CLEAN!! Very family friendly. Will definitely come back when in town. Little hidden gem when driving they McAllen!! Portions are huge and prices are very reasonable.
