Taqueria Mexico

It's now called Taqueria Hacienda on the corner of Ave A and Wheeler Ave.They gave always been pretty good, our GoToo for breakfast for sure...we'll, this morning was not atypical. The tacos were "Pinners" according to my husband..aka, tacos with more tortilla than ingredients. I called. They need need to know. We are all paying A LOT more for things nowadays.In saying that, I get it, but we shouldn't get A LOT LESS for A LOT MORE.The girl on the phone was really sweet and offered for us to come back, nope..not today.Hope this is not gonna be the rule.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My gordita with Carne asada was terrible. The beef was incredibly gamey tasting, and the corn gordita was overcooked on the outside and raw in the middle. It was so tough to cut, just terrible. My husband had huevos Ranchero, and his eggs were cooked according to order; the sauce lacked flavor. The flour tortillas appeared to be housemade but we're dry. Overall, not good.

Great Mexican food in Aransas Pass. They're open on Sundays and closed on Mondays, I guess they haven't updated their hours on Yelp. Fajitas were just carne asada meat but had great flavor and tortillas hot and fresh! My husband ordered the #6 which had a crispy taco and enchiladas and he said it was very good. Mother in law ordered the gordita with lengua and she gave it 2 thumbs up. Chips and salsa were excellent and salsa was very spicy!Women's restroom was clean and service was good.

They are open on Sunday. Very clean and friendly came for breakfast. Service was super fast. Large portions and great food

We've tried this little hidden gem several and have had different things each time with no disappointments. Our first trip we had the Carne Guiana, Shrimp Cocktail, Chicken Fajita Quesadilla and Chicken Torta, all very good. 2nd time, we both had the Molcajete and once terrific. Our last trip I had the Chicken Fajita Taco Salad, he had Carne Guiana and we shared the Fajita Nachos Supreme - these were the best Nachos anywhere. Definitely stop by our feet it to go!

Portions are too small, not much flavor, and (I think) overpriced =\ . I do like the margaritas .

Friendly wait staff and quick with the food. Had pancake breakfast and breakfast burrito. It was all ok.

Must visit Taqueria Mexico if you're in Aransas Pass, TX. Huge portions and amazing flavor. Not to mention the awesome margaritas and smiling staff. Hands down will come back. 02/01/22 12:45 pm

Asked for waters with lemon to drink and received lemonade. Didn't know that it was lemonade until we drank it. Cashier said that since we drank it we had to pay for it even though that's NOT what we wanted. Also got juevos rancheros which is supposed to come with a meat for $8.50 and received no meat, just eggs, potatoes and beans! Worst service ever!

Loved this places crispy tacos, the rice was amazing and the sweet tea was freshly brewed. The cashier was a nice young lady she was awesome .
