This place is great and good location for a Houston to laredo drive. The food is authentic Mexican. They offer a big buffet or order off the menu. I've had their fajita tacos, their beef nachos (you can order a half order). Today I was here early and had their Huevos Rancheros it comes with a not too spicy warm ranchero sauce on the side, which I prefer, so I can add as much or little that I want. Also comes with crispy bacon, nice roasted potatoes and your choice of corn or flour homemade tortillasSergio and his staff are always attentive and friendly, I will be back! If your in the area check it out, you won't be disappointed. Oh, it's also a mini mart so you can stock up for your drive or have a nice cold beer with your meal !

Holy Smokey guacamole....this place is the real deal. I'm Hispanic and have been raised on Mexican food in Austin. I didn't know what authentic Mexican was until I came here. I'm not even a Mexican food fan, but after this place, I am. Can we say authentic AF. Every thing I tasted at their lunch buffet was super delicious. I couldn't get enough of the homemade chips and salsa. The tamales were perfection and I'm not kidding...the best bbq chicken I've ever had. $10 all you can eat buffet. Hell to the yea. Even the tortillas are homemade. I'm in love. They have all the Mexican chips and candy you can ask for. Seriously, do yourself a favor and try this restaurant. It won't disappoint.

Was traveling and need a quick bite so decided to stop in. It's set up like a mini mart / restaurant. I wasn't impressed with the buffet option, however they had a nice sized menu with options. I went simple with a quesadilla plate but it did not disappoint!! The beans and rice were quality. I personally like crunchy chips, so their chips and salsa were very good for me! The waiter even tho there was a small language barrier was awesome as well!!

Small town mini mart/restaurant. PROS:--- They offer a variety of Mexican items! So many different plates for lunch or dinner and they have breakfast which you can order after 11 a.m. for an extra dollar. --- Bonus: their menus have photos! Check the photos! --- They have a nice size buffet with two buffet tables boosting an array of typical Mexican items and Mexicanized items like spaghetti a la Mexican style as well as, a whole table dedicated to fresh fruit and salad. All this for only $8.99 plus tax... Plus. Tax. (The waiter made sure to emphasize that.) --- They offer aguas frescas, I had the horchata - not bad, but I've had better. --- Their servers are very nice and patient -- all men, didn't see any women working. --- Not only are they a restaurant, they also have a mini mart inside which includes an array of drinks, lots of sodas, and all kinds of chips. --- Nice size parking lot. CONS:--- The chips were a bit hard, cold, and appeared to be fried several times. Yuck. --- The guacamole was not guacamole. It was an avocado that they attempted to mash up and forgot to season... with anything. Even after my efforts to add salt and pepper to it, the poor avocado still tasted bland. Huge disappointment. --- No free chips with your meal -- just a heads up. However, our server was nice enough to give us some after I asked. Oh, and the chips don't come with the "guacamole." Overall, a great spot to stop for some chicharrones (the already bagged kind, not fresh) and a cold Fanta! (For whoever drinks soda, I would think that would be a great combination and bonus, they sell both of these items there!)

This was a pretty good Mexican food buffet for $8.99! It wasn't fancy but the food tasted great and the service was good. We were just passing through & happened to see it. There weren't many cars which makes you nervous, but it's a small town I guess. Back to the food, they had enchiladas which were great for Tex-Mex quality. The beans and rice were flavored well, I usually don't order them. They had caldo (soup) and Fideo that was excellent, no complaints. They even put out chile rellenos that were full of cheese and flavor. Skip the salad bar & don't expect much out of the fruit. That would be my only complaint about the place.

Great little hole in the wall to stop by for some great food and great prices. Their pork leg torta is probably one of the best I have had. Their horchata is amazing. If you're on the road looking for something worthwhile, this is definitely the place to go.

I found a dead fly in my rice and it have been cooked with the rice. When my mom talked to the server he said that he couldn't do anything about it so I had to talk to the cashier about it. I would not recommend this place at all.
