FAST SERVICE AT THE DRIVETHRU. I've been to over 20 taquerias this summer, and Tapatia #3 is the speed champ. If you are in a hurry, this is your spot. Breakfast tacos: Bifold Tortilla was a little dry and had a small amount of surface flour, but was packed to the brim with hot ingredients. More beans than most places put on a bean egg chz, but I liked it. Salsa was fresh, but very little given and it was overwhelmed by the larger-than-average amount of ingredients. Always fresh, always delicious , this place has become my new go to for my favorite crispy tacos , quick, tasty and affordable the three requirements I demand . ..... am I asking for too much? The drive through gets backed up sometimes but worth your time it to go inside. Got to have the sweet tea with lemon if u have time to eat out . Tejano music videos are usually on the gigante big screen for this authentic tejano establishment!

Don't go here. They force a minimum of $4 for any order on credit/debit card. Go somewhere else.

Arrived Saturday April 17, 2921 at 1:25 pm at LaTapatia at 4521 Ayers Street Corpus Christi, Texas. Only two more sets of customers in this restaurant besides us. We were quickly served a small helping of salsa, chips and Queso Dip. I ordered the Menudo and my wife ordered chicken soup. The Menudo came with flour tortillas, diced onion & fresh Jalapeño plus chopped Cilantro. Cut Limes were also included. Both piping hot and were very good. I've had menudo at other restaurants but it was not even close to how good this menudo was. Highly recommend this restaurant at least forbthe Menudo and the quick and friendly customer service. My qualifications as an Expert and Experienced Food and Service Critic; I have a BS in Management and have been trained in two Culinary Schools, to include on the job training at other venues. I've managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have had my own successful Catering business. As a Culinary Trainer, I have trained personnel on how to provide superb cuisine and expert customer service. At the age of 74, I am now retired and enjoy being on the other side of the Apron.

The best of everything Mexican food and little American. I loooove the breakfast taqitos wow the best with homemade tortillas , that's hard to find in most places fake tortillas I don't like that. The caldo is very delicious and so fresh I love the one with the shrimp is my favorite!! They have a huge menu to select for lunch plates they are so delicious . Nice comfortable place and they make u feel welcome and the food so delicious WOW!! I love it

Came to this place because another one I was looking for was closed. I'm glad. Loved the breakfast specials of huevos rancheros. Worth trying out

I just barely pulled up the mic and two seconds later the lady is like hurry up I have a line didn't even get a sec to see what I wanted from the menu so rude NEVER AGAIN!

Got breakfast tacos for breakfast man either they like that or they was on they bullshit that morning but 10/10 recommend

Breakfast tacos were great, I miss living in south Tx in Austin you won't find any good food like this.

When at 12:00ish, wasn't much people. Had the plato combinacion. Pretty damn good, especially those beans.
