Taqueria La Tapatia

Stopped by the Friday morning not to busy. Ordered a potato and egg taco asked for crispy potatoes. Took a while I figured they were doing it right. $2.50 for potatoes with egg a little high. Got my order went out to my truck to eat. Opened it up and potato was not crispy and whats the purpose of mashing the potatoes into the eggs?

Another middle of the road Corpus taqueria. You get what you pay for, and it is pretty decent. So is the service. When I first moved back I had wondered if this local chain had any relation to the La Tapatia taqueria chain in Houston. Turns out the only similarity is it's namesake.

PLEASE REPLACE THE WOMAN AT THE DRIVE THRU WINDOWI have regularly visited this place for years and usually have had good experiences. I've even dined there with pleasant memories as well. Today, I just had the worst drive-thru experience of my life.I order, get to the window, and when she told me the total, realize I forgot my wallet as I reach over to grab it. I ask if they have Apple Pay to which she acts like she has never heard of it. I know they have an older system so I assume they don't and start digging through my coin stash in my car. I find a $20 dollar bill. I ask her to take out one of the plates (I order 2 plates & 2 lemonades) as I am grabbing lunch for my brother and me. I decide that I can just get lunch elsewhere that accepts Apple Pay as it was my brother who specifically wanted the mini tacos and a lemonade for lunch.Well, the woman outright refuses to take one of the plates off. She says that both plates have been made. OK AND??? I have 20 dollars to work with. You need to work with me or I just drive away?! And you waste BOTH plates. But this woman just wouldn't work with me. I've worked at restaurants too, you have to work with the customer. Yeah you'll save a plate of food now but will I ever return to unpleasant service? NO. Jalisco's don't treat me like this. Acapulco don't treat me like this. She literally WOULD NOT LET ME REMOVE one of the plates so I could have a FULL LUNCH FOR MY LITTLE BROTHER. AND FOR WHAT? A PLATE WORTH $5 BUCKS???!?!?!? AND A LOST CUSTOMER.ADDITIONALLY, THE PACKAGING WAS TERRIBLE. The sauces and beans in the paper bag were not put in another plastic bag and the sauces spilled and ripped the bag getting all over my car seats.Get it together.

Straight. GAS. I've been eating here for years and it's more then rare when the food doesn't come out to delicious expectations. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Corpus Christi, with a wide selection of authentic Mexican food. Ever since I joined the navy I've been missing this place like crazy and its the first restaurants I go to when I come back home.

Horrible service and food. Our phone order was Not what we ordered. Returned to get our correct order and what we received was missing many items i.e. beans, lettuce, tomatoes on taco's etc. The Quesadillas were horrible. They lost our business.

I stopped by for a taco in the morning an I had a horrible experience in drive threw. I order two tacos an yet they manage to mess that up an give me the wrong order. Come on it 7am an Im heading to work don't have time for mess up. I was really looking fwd to having my taco this morning. When I called they said for me to. It eat an take back, huh I work across town. P.S get it together

Have come here several times, first time they missed part of my order in the drive through, I had to add drink and quesadilla at the window. Food is always good but then when we went inside, there was plastic in our food. They took off the meal but not free desert? Kids running around loose and burping while we are trying to eat.

This place is cozy with excellent food! They had a high chair for my toddler, nice service staff, quick service, a kids menu that had plenty of options, and the prices of meals were right on target. The tacos I got were stuffed full of delicious marinated meat and the charro beans were out of this world. Even my toddler gobbled them up. Sweet tea was perfect and the fountain drinks were crisp and bubbly. I would absolutely recommend them!

Had to pick up about 20 tacos for a teacher's breakfast. Great service, fast, made to order and rave reviews from the teachers!

The drive through older lady Always has the worst attitude and no matters. I always have to double ask for hot sauce and limes. And she gets frustrated like I didn't ask for them three times before. This is the third time she has forgot a taco in my order and she has no remorse she doesn't say sorry or anything. I really think they should switch to the back or somewhere else because I hate going to the drive-through because of her. Other than that Owner and both staff are very sweet
