Taquería La Herradura - McAllen

It was decent. Not the best. The beans taste from out of a can. And the cilantro was soggyHey guys so it's been 5 days and I don't know why I made the decision to give this place a second chance. I woke up at 4 am in the morning throwing up. I had the papa asada with bistec. Idk what it is with this place. The flavor is there but they need better cooks.

Wow. The best tacos I have ever had. So delicious, will keep coming over and over. Excellent service as well and we waited 5 min for our food!!

I would like to say that in my 37 years I've eaten a lot of tacos in at least 5 states in Mexico and 22 states in the US, I love tacos. This place has hands down the best taco mixto I've ever tried I even had other places try to replicate the taco off the menu and it wasn't even close. So if you're in the McAllen area stop by this place and order the tacos mixtos it's tacos de bistek con tripa, now I like my tripa bien doradita (really fried and crunchy) and they pack the taco full of meat, their salsas and beans preparados are also great to pair with. They have aguas frescas and regular drinks and everything is very well priced. Hands down my favorite taco spot in The Valley so far.

I've been to the pharr location before several times just never went back because it was too far away for me since i live in north McAllen This spot is just as good hope it stays this way We took our order to go and we were very satisfied thank you

I know these guys are doing the best they can considering but I unfortunately wont be back--- and this used to be my go to place. This is the second time-----10 beef tacos that were loaded with liver flavored gristle. It just wasn't appetizing at all. whatever they're trying to pass off as beef isn't working. Go up the road and spend a little more buy you'll get something edible.

Came here tonight to eat some bistek tacos. This is the new location located on Trenton and 23rd St. You get an order of 5 tacos (corn) w/beans for $6.99. The beans are tasty and the tacos are filled with a good amount of meat. This is one of the better tacos places here in the McAllen area by far and the prices are wallet friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for street tacos.

Soooo, we've had the sincronizada twice already and it's very good, but this time we decided to get the papa asada sencillo. Well... it wasn't good!!The papa has no flavor and the cheese is honestly the worst kind of cheese to put on something like this.They really need to change the type of cheese they use, it doesn't even melt into the rest of the papa. It just sits on top in a huge clump and is difficult to chew and swallow. I didn't eat more than two bites before I threw it away. Bean and the green salsa are also very delicious! Ordering for pick up is wonderful, quick, and very accurate.

super good tacos, hot dogs, and tortas! they stay open really late which is convenient!!

The food is real hit or miss not like it use to be..over the top greasy. The service is usually good tho nice and friendly.this is about the pharr location mostly but still applies

Food mid fr and after I ate I had gotten food poisoning and the food is really greasy couldn't even finish half of my meal before going to the restroom never go here and do not get the sincronizada it's terrible.
