Been here several times now, always a good experience. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, quick and attentive service, and good food! Of course the usual Tex mex but also some more traditional Mexican entrees and they serve breakfast every day! Definitely worth the drive, thanks!

Starting with the service 'cause that's half of why most go out to a restaurant, the Service is excellent and attention to detail. Very large menu and the staff are pros at making recommendations. Fresh guac - good sign. They make their own corn and flour tortillas - good sign number 2. Tex Mex cuisine pure and simple. Combo plate is a nice selection of three traditional basics. Enchaladas are well stuffed and flavorful. Carna guisada is a solid top 7 on our scale. We recommend anything with fajitas. Fajitas have a great taste. Good stop

Had to travel for work so it was a socially distant lunch in a new town! The only reason they earned three stars was because it was Tex-Mex 101. This is the perfect reason why Yelp should allow 1/2 stars for reviews. Three stars is really too low but they're not quite 4-star material. Warm chips and fresh made salsa to start. Salsa is thin with chunky vegetables towards the end of the bowl. Fresh cilantro made the salsa fresh and flavorful. Chips needed a hit of salt. Hubby ordered his usual beef fajita quesadilla. The meat was incredibly tasty with a nice grilled flavor. Lots of cheese as you'll see by photo. I ordered the daily special #12 of two cheese enchiladas, crispy taco, rice, and beans. This is where it was just 101. Nothing stood out as over-the-top good. Not bad just not great.Being this far south and not near my house, I wouldn't return because there's a taqueria on almost every street corner. However if I'm in Cuero again, I'd stop and try a new dish.

Good food..came here with mi madre after doing some tests at cuero community hospital and its on the way home and I don't eat meat so got a bean and avocado gordita and it was good...I can't recall what my mom got but I also got horchata which always makes me happy

Super delicious! Excellent service. Festive atmosphere. Plus side: the food is delicious and the portions are more than generous. The downside: the menu is extensive! So many choices. Couldn't choose. Extremely reasonably priced. Will definitely stop here again when driving through.

The hamburger was okay, but they tried to charge me 78 dollars for my meal, fortunately my bank didn't let it go through. They also don't take checks, and if you use a credit card they charge 2.99 extra

Great food for the most part and good customer service. Always my first choice for Mexican Food.

First of all it's the cleanest place in probably 200 miles. It's a new establishment and the kitchen is mostly viewable from the drive-in so you can eat with confidence knowing it's well-maintained.The service is great it helps to know the language when ordering! Check out the Mexican Chicken Fried Steak you won't find it anywhere else in Texas and it's pretty amazing! Southern Food meets Tex-Mex!
