We eat here every time we visit this area. The food was good but not as good As it usually is .There were 4 of us We were given a small plastic basket of chips ....we asked for more chips & they said there would be a charge .I said your kidding .""""We eat Mexican food all the time in Dallas have never Had to pay for more chips at any Mexican restaurant before

Great food - fast service!! The shrimp cocktail was one of the better ones I have ever had. Visiting & will be back when we come through the Bluff next time.

Best value Mexican sit down restaurant around North Padre Island. Really unexpected. Clean, spacious, and well run.

I am usually not one to leave a bad review, but unfortunately, in this case I have to. The service was OK, the young man helping us did a good job for such a large party. The issue came when my wife found a large bone in the sour cream enchiladas. When we told the waitress, instead of apologizing and doing anything about it, she showed us, a disclaimer on the menu that said, poultry might have contamination. I'm sorry, but just pointing to something on the menu isn't acceptable to me. Also, when we got our bill, we were charged for extra baskets of chips and salsa. Again, a waitress just put into on the menu where it said extra chips and salsa are $1.99. I love Mexican restaurants and I have never been to one where they charged for extra chips and salsa. I don't think it would be hard just to let the customer know there will be a charge if you decide to have extra chips and salsa. Besides the bone, the food was mediocre.

Got the bean egg chz taco. Partially trifolded Tortilla that was thin and quite dry, low point of the taco. Good ratios of ingredients and a tasty red salsa.

Good food and great service! The sides were even top notch. Tasted homemade. Would go again.

Tacos were trash, soft drinks had gnats in them. I MEAN MULTIPLE FLIES IN OUR DRINKS! Do not eat here! We're from San Antonio, it's hard to find good tacos places anywhere else. Scratch this one off for sure.

Food was fantastic. The queso and salsa is delicious here! Just grab the large size, you'll eat it. I just got the #2 chicken fajitas. Delicious. The atmosphere was very calm and quiet. Nobody had any complaints of their food out of the 6 of us. The service was great. Kept drinks filled and even asked us if we wanted to-go drinks. He worked quick and was attentive.

This place is a sad situation! I'm a local guy and drive by several times a day have eaten there in the past but today is my last time ever OMG! Ordered the crispy taco plate meat was absolutely terrible beans were cold cheese looked like it had mold and enchilada was nasty no other words to explain how bad it was . Save your money . O ya beer was spoiled also .

I've gone here and ordered their oatmeal before and enjoyed it each time. I also like their sweet tea!
