Taqueria Jalisco

Order takeout for several of us, so we got a variety of tacos. Their Carne Asada was fantastic, as was the steak and chicken. Service was fast and friendly. The refried beans were very good as well. They gave us two varieties of salsa with our orders and both were really good.

Ordered a torta de bistec with everything on the side and did not receive what was ordered. But the food was amazing, and received my order right away I only waited 5-10 min for a to go order. Staff was nice ish but everything else was good.

Well this visit wasn't so great. Was overcharged for an extra taco that I have to go back to get my money for. Then, my pastor taco was upgraded to an extra greasy taco at no charge...sucked. The line was fairly slow, but finally got through. Lots of stray dogs in the parking lot, so be prepared if you have a fear of dogs. Not a fan of this location.

Food and coffee were delicious! Decided to eat on the South Side of Corpus Christi. We normally eat on the North Side. Taqueria Jalisco did not disappoint. Homemade tortillas and I ordered tacos: papa con huevo, huevo a la mexicana, chicharrones con salsa roja. The coffee was delicious. The service was awesome! The waitress made sure our coffee was always topped. The place was packed with locals and many would come in and pick up their orders. It was raining and people were still coming in for their food. The atmosphere was welcoming.

I requested chicken broth , it was a little salty, also a milanesa torta and was dry as well, but the worse of all, the food wasn't ready and the line trough the drive tru was getting long, so the lady told me to drive to the back so the food will be delivered there, at night in an dark alley, we saw the door open a couple of times, so we drove back after 10 minutes of waiting, we told them about we were waiting for the food, so this lady yell to my family and me, asking me in the worse mode, where were we, like if we were hiding or something, I asked her no to yell is that way and she kept telling us the next time we better find another place to buy our food.The worst experience ever!

first time visiting corpus christi and we went to grab food and the waiter was really nice and ceviche and shrimp cocktail was really good!!

The food was awesome and the costumer service Taqueria Jalisco was amazing and the how fast our food came out was amazing . The food was fresh and the tortillas were so delicious and soft . When we walked in we got treated and greeted amazingly and when we sat down she asked how was our day and we were very impressed on the way everyone was so nice the place looked very nice and clean the place was very organized and when we sat down she took our order and our drinks 10/10 definitely recommend and when we were leaving the lady that was picking up trash she asked us before we left to se if we were done amazing customer service .

The food has definitely changed in the last couple of years. We always go in and get a little bit of everything, this time we had asada, pastor and carnitas tacos. We also added pastor nachos and the enchilada plate. I do have to say that it is still one of best tasting in Santa Maria. Only negative I can say is pricing, with inflation they dramatically raised there prices across the board. For what you get it just really don't make sense anymore...

A solid 4. Was in search of breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning to recover from the previous night and found them here.I know this place is a Corpus staple, this is their go-to joint with locations scattered across town. I had came here in the past and this time around, I didn't think much. The place is a bit messy but it could be due to the large demand at peak Sunday morning period.Its about as basic as it gets in terms of Tex-Mex. The salsa was just ehh. Certainly spicy, but missing something. For lack of better words, this place is basic Tex-Mex. Its at the baseline for Tex-Mex. Nothing setting this place apart from the rest other than the availability being scattered around the city.

My favorite Mexican restaurant to go to for tacos! They have the best carne asada tacos!
