Taqueria Hidalgo

Food is pretty tasty and good, service is not there when it comes to the cashiers, but the cooks are the once's who make a good dish!

The tacos from Hidalgo are great and the beans to especially the frijoles Piratas which come with globs of meat and cheese.My only complaint is that the tacos de harina get stuck together easily.

Crunchy chips. Hot fiery salsas (hot, hotter and hottest!!!)6 mini tacos. Freshly made, served sizzling. Meat was tasty. Cilantro fresh. Tortillas warm!Nom nomPrice was unbeatable!

Hands down best taqueria in town. U won't spent more than $10 when u get the combo of 5 tacos and u get the drink, papa loca, chips, salsas, charro beens and and ofcourse your 5 tacos. "They are so damn good" Greate sevice greate prices delicious tacos.

My fajita tacos combo was hands down delicious!! Nice and simple.. w/fresh chopped onions, and cilantro, homemade corn tortillas. The frijoles a la charra were good, papa con todo was good too. Washed it down w/in-house made lemonade. The only thing I would change, is the bacon bits on the papa.. imitation bacon bits are not so fun.. I would recommend adding real bacon bits to the papa. Other than that- it's a great place for some comfort food tacos.. RGV style.

Costumer service is nice...they explain right away what they have...there no menús...the chips and salsa is good would like a lil extra chips....green salsa is the best...from all the three that they provide....don't expect a high end restaurant this where the locals eat...food is not that bad...trompo taco to much cumin...the fajita taco tasted a lil old and dry with no season...tripa tacos were good..I like the gamie flavor if you like that than you r not lacking it...here....they r not stingy with there portions they are well served...i like that....would I come back yes....lemonade was goood...

Good food for a good price!I ordered the special (5 Tacos, baked potato, bean soup, and a soda) for $8.50 plus tax.Delicious and more food than most people can eat in one sitting.Try the Habanero sauce!

Good asf.that orange salsa I think it the habanero sauce that was delicious asf and order comes really fast also!

Stopped by on a whim based on reviews. So Impressed with tacos, great carne asada on corn tortillas. Super hot sauce but oh so good! Comes with charro beans and good size baked potatoe. Great service, don't let the small establishment throw you for a loop, very good food prices ok, good quick service. The place is small and it was warm in here is why they get 4 stars. Beyond that do recommend for certain.
