Taqueria El Cazador

This place is legit. I have yet to be steered wrong on Yelp, but this one is a gem. Had the Tacos Mexicanos with fajita beef and I was impressed. The beef was cooked right - not over or undercooked, so the flank steak was tender - and the spice balance was lovely. Literally the best tacos I've had in some time. $7.99 for the plate which included charro beans. (Made with chicharrones in the beans - excellent!)The ambiance and service could use a little work, but when the tacos were this good I won't quibble about that. I'm not a perfectionist, I just want a good meal at a reasonable price. I'll be visiting Corpus on a semi-regular basis, so I'll certainly be back.

Although the prices are phenomenal and the lady at the window is always so sweet, the tacos are a little bit too greasy for my taste.

Stopped here for breakfast tacos. Service was fast and friendly. The chorizo and egg taco was.....okay, but made better by the green salsa they give. The potato and egg taco was good. My only other disappointment was the store-bought tortillas they use. Prices were okay. If we happen to be in the area again, we'll stop there.

I took my mom here when she was visiting from California. My food was ok (not great), but she had tacos with ground beef, and she couldn't even finish them because the meat disgusted her. The ground beef had absolutely no flavor, and tasted like it had been burnt in its own grease. She still talks about how it is the worst mexican food she has ever had. Maybe she got a bad batch of beef. In any case, I have not been back.

Food is always amazing! Quick service, polite staff, & some of the best food I've had in south Texas. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

Love the daily specials but all the menu items are good. The staff is great and friendly with us each time we visit. My grand daughters love to eat here.

Subdued and quiet atmosphere. Lovely scenic landscape paintings fill the walls. The restaurant seems primarily lit by the rays of the late morning sun, and the effect is cheerful and cozy. Even when business picks up with the lunch crowd, it never seems noisy or crowded. This seems like it would be a great place for a business lunch. Sadly, I have not tried as much of the food as I should have. I ordered the Tacos Mexicanos my first time there and have not been able to bring myself to order anything else, they are that good. The plate comes with ten small corn tortillas, double stacked and generously topped with carne asada to make five little taquitos. Included is a mini bowl of charro beans, fresh lime wedges, a large charred jalapeno, and sautéed onions and peppers added on the side for you to put on to suit your tastes. Their green salsa can be very spicy at times, and rather mild at others. The coffee is almost always excellent.

Stoped here and went through the drive thru ... food is not good.. I order menudo and it was basically broth with bones in it, hardly any tripe at all! Some of the bones were pretty small so I bit into one not knowing it was there!.... other food was super bland! Super disappointed

We used to love getting tacos from this place, always the best... now that they are under new owners we stopped there hoping they would still be good... very big disappointment... eggs were dry and the tortillas were dry also, not to mention the increase in price... very disappointed, we now have to find a new place to get tacos

We Wanted to have breakfast so Husband went there. He ordered scrambled eggs they were green and rotten. We usually enjoy the food there but we didn't today and we definitely won't go back! My husband wanted eggs and a side of sausage for my daughter they didn't understand that in English or Spanish.
